I think we also used Ramos as a bargaining chip to try and keep De Gea or certainly to up the price.
One can only hope. PSG say the DiM transfer is close I'm sure I say somewhere that he was top score/assists combined at United last season, he's class and must come good given the right time and formation, so I'm delighted he's leaving).
I really really want to see De Gea leave too .... even if it means Ramos going to OT (not a biggie anyway) as he was the difference between you and 5th / 6th last season.
It's not really a loss when they lose di maria, he was bollocks for most of the season. When they lose teenwolf they're going to be royally in the shit. Hopefully he goes this summer, and they have to put that dodgy Argentinian in goal with that god awful defence infront of him.

I know it's only a pre-season game, but still, this is hideous. The first goal was just as bad, with Jones, the other CB and De Gea all looking like they didn't want to be there. A different clip I've seen has a De Gea moment before both goals, where he just casually passed straight to Ibrahimovic who scooped his shot over the bar with just the keeper to beat. Of course, the serious games haven't started, but I'd like to imagine something isn't right in their camp now... 🙂

Wizzy: if it is, they're going to be even worse off than the Mancs currently are up front, with their other options being an off-the-boil Remy and (as far as I can see) Falcao still a long way from his best, if indeed he can ever get back to that. They're so strong at the back and in midfield that they'll still be in the mix but, whether or not Mourinho really meant it when he said the other day that this season would be harder for them, either way he could well be right.
Ditto. Given the way Rodgers wants to set up, we BADLY need someone like him doing that kind of job. It would be one more new face to fit into the overall team picture, but that's a risk I'd absolutely be up for taking in this case.
