Other forum meltdown watch 24/25

Exactly, I find it strange that they forget that half of our starters were out last season and we had to play the league cup final with reserves.
Yeah - and that we had to knock them out of the FA Cup late when we had no choice but to bring our kids on. Even their fanbase on the watch-along were saying Klopp is taking the piss.

Why are they bitching about Partey playing at RB because of injuries when they have some other legit defenders sitting on the bench?

Boo hoo, sucks to be them.

I think maybe it was just the way things went today..
getting excited 90th min and then perennial loser Nunez pops up with 2 goals.
Then get excited with 2 goals up in the 55th and then F***k it up.. plus 'goal' wiped off for handball.

I think it just hits much more when things happen like that
Plus they are not wrong about Arteta. Can you imagine what Big Gnome, Moron and Blue Bottler would be saying on here if we'd spent £800m and had nothing to show for it? And they'd be right.

There currently a bundle on Twitter saying it's never a handball, showing clips again and again of the ball bouncing off Havertz arm and still still not believing the ball hit him.
Also, poor Havertz and his missus probably getting a load of abuse

They're right. The ball obviously bounced off Havertz's 1 metre long penis, sheathed in white.

Red saw it but GNev called VAR and told them to intervene.

Great to see Utd get a reality check after our game.

City looking back to a level that will see them get 2nd comfortably by seasons end.

Mate - since they lost to Villa before Christmas, they’ve beaten Ipswich, West Ham, Leicester and Salford City and drawn against Everton - that’s not indicative of a team ready to charge up the table.

That’s a team with a run of lucky fixtures that they’d be expecting to win.

There next run of games includes PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle, Us, Spurs, Forest & Brighton.

Lets see how they’re looking mid March - mind you if they win all those (bar our game), they’ll likely have won us the league by taking points of all our other challengers.

They had a good win, but have played Ipswich, Brentford, West Ham and Leicester. They Dropped a 2-0 lead against Brentford. It would be great if they win the Arsenal game but let's see how they actually look after these

PSG (A) - CL
Chelsea (H)
Brugge (H) - CL
Arsenal (A)
Orient (A) - FA Cup
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (H)

I like we're at the end of that run of games because, bar Orient, there's no rest for the wicked. Both CL games are huge for City now.

Of course they may falter but they also could win all of those games and should we continue our stumbling they could smell blood.

No it's 16 points.

If we drop 12 points vis a vis City to the end of the season, we will finish 3 points ahead of them.
We are 12 pts ahead of city with a game In hand and a superior g/d. Everton game is in February which will hopefully be 3pts but untill then it doesn't count

You're confused. I was responding to Fabio who implied that dropping 13 more points than City to the end of the season would result in us finishing behind them. That's not true. City have ALREADY dropped 15 more points than us, therefore in order for that deficit to be reversed we would need to drop 16 more points than them by the end of the season.

City are done, toast. Forget them.

Let's not rush. Every chance we could have a bumper edition with the city arsenal game today

Almost feels like a win win.
Both sets of fans will have a meltdown lose or draw (though I imagine arsenal more so with a draw).
The last game between them means more on the line and points to prove.

Here's hoping for red cards, drama, pep and arteta punching each other and haaland being humbled again
