Wonder how much of it is he fucking hates most of the bench, so it's like"no we aren't tired so stop fucking asking me to rotate"
Yep. If he signs 7 players this summer and doesn't play any then he can fuck off when the Scouse boom bust cycle comes back. Hopefully not obv

It's impossible to argue that we're not fatigued and running on fumes. Well, impossible unless you're our manager.

I don’t think it’s fatigue - well not physical fatigue anyway - this feels like more of a mental issue with the team, more of a brittle confidence and complacency thing - we seem to be a team fixated on momentum and the minute we lose it we fall apart.

We can’t keep claiming fatigue when Arsenal, Villa, Spurs, City & Utd will all likely play more games than us (possibly Chelsea’s too).

In any case - there are plenty of good players in the squad that haven’t played anywhere near enough games to be fatigued.

This is something different and it’s not even this season or last season - I need to do some more analysis but I’m starting to think its related to going out of European competition.

It's a few things, but it's absolutely fatigue as well.

We were poor before we went out of Europe. Our peak performances this season were quite early. We haven't hit that again.

It should be affecting every team that’s in Europe then and it’s not as if, as a “possession” team we spend all game chasing the ball.

Or… it goes back to not effectively managing player minutes by effectively using the squad - It’s really only Virgil, Gravy, Mac, Dom and Mo that’s been playing loads - meanwhile Quansah, Endo, Harvey and Chiesa have like one Premier League start between them… and that was when Quansah got hooked at half time in the first game of the season.

If fatigue is a major factor, there is only really 4 solutions, we either take the “Dreamie Approach” and exit domestic cup and Europe at the first stage, we spread the minutes we play over more equally over the squad, we stop training or train less intensely or the players get fitter - but we absolutely can’t be falling off a cliff edge every time we get close to Easter.

Either that or the players are gorging on too many chocolate eggs in the run in.

It is fatigue. And it's fatigue caused by over playing and under rotating our key players.

They've completely fallen off. You can see it watching them. You can see it in the results.

Slot says it's not fatigue. So he's a liar or the players have just gone shit but wants to persist with the shit

Fans may feel fatigued from talking about fatigue in recent weeks – with the question being posed several times over whether Arne Slot’s lack of rotation has hampered Liverpool in the last month.

So Confidential has had a deep dive into the data and here are the results…

Liverpool have actually made 3.9 changes per game this season – which is more than all but five clubs in the Premier League. Chelsea are top with 7.2 (though they do virtually switch the full XI for Europa Conference League clashes) and Everton are bottom on 2.1.

Slot has used 31 players in total this season, which puts them ninth in a Premier League table, and they are 11th in the list of average substitutions per game with 4.33.

But what may support the statistic that players are being worn out is that nine Liverpool men have started 30 or more games this season, which is more than any other Premier League team. Wolves, Leicester and West Ham, for example, only have two players on this list.

Ryan Gravenberch is one player on this list that is perhaps starting to feel the effects of his first full season as a starter. Before Christmas, the Dutchman was averaging 73 touches, 15.1 ball carries, 158m carry distance, 90.6 per cent pass accuracy in all competitions per 90. All of those are down, now at 64 touches, 12.5 carries, 129m distance, 87.9 per cent pass accuracy.
