Where would you rank the 2025 LFC Champions

You sound like you're looking for every way not to enjoy it @mark1975 - you must have some mates hounding you with negatives. I would happily trade not winning it for another 5+ years if it guarantees this year.

I can't wait to win the title, we can properly celebrate like we didn't get to do last time, and the rest will be forgotten, no complaints from me there.

It's not on the level of Klopp's Champions League and Premier League-winning teams, but that was always going to be impossible. Jurgen left behind a very good squad, but not one that was at its absolute peak, and certainly not without its flaws.

There was work to do on the first team, aside from the ongoing contract issues. The Nunez deal looks like a failure by most reasonable measures, the left-wing position wasn't providing enough productivity, the six role was filled by a stopgap signing (though a good one), and both Gomez and the left-back position needed attention. Key players like Robbo, VVD, and Salah have all aged by around 3-4 years.

Slot has managed to make Grav arguably as impactful as Fabinho, but even with Gakpo's improvements and Diaz's efforts, they’re still no Mane. As for Jota and Nunez, why bother even comparing them to Bobby. The reality is that in peak Premier League years, this squad would likely be fighting for third or fourth place, but we should acknowledge that the level of Klopp and Pep's teams during their best years were anomalies. I believe that on form the current squad would stand up to most title winners in history.

We’re going to probably end up winning the league by 10-16 points…so that’d be an impressive enough title winning procession of a year.

Where do you rank this title winning team amongst our other title winning or even other teams since the switch to the EPL?
It's not as good as any of our teams that won the old first division.
It's not as good as our 1 team that has won the Prem.
It's not as good as 2 or 3 of our teams that didn't win the Prem.
Other than that, sound.

Without recalling all the others this (if it happens) is exceptional because we have a new manager, no signings, we play against biased referees and we have a smaller budget than many, we are also always competitive in many competitions to the point were we often bite off more than we can chew.

So given the expected turmoil of losing an iconic manager, revamping the backroom staff and no signings it would be a fantastic achievement.
