If the £ difference is £15m then the € difference is about €21m , add on 1 year's salary at I expect ca. £250k a week (£13m) and he's cost Untied £28m in one year, or near enough €40m .

Pounds will be your base figure. You, like other English clubs, would hedge against a stronger euro, not a weaker one. Your loss will be far greater than €11m. Not that it matters, of course. You lot have spent £300m in two years. What's a 15m pound loss between marketing executives.
