Dining experience?
Now there's an ambiguous title for a prize, that could mean absolutely anything, from a KFC meal to an evening in the Ritz.
Knowing Brendan it's probably a Boots meal deal on a park bench.

12 defeats in 38 league games. Worst defeat for 52 years. dumped out of CL, EL, and an FA Cup semi final without an ounce of effort.

Not good enough. Far better managers out there available. What on earth do you see in him that suggests he can turn this around. He's constantly handed his arse by middle of the road managers. Because he is one.
He never got what? He got beat by some shite in his time here and challenged once in 6 years, but Sean and a few others would have him back in a heartbeat because he's great over two legs in Europe or something. The hypocrisy is laughable, we can't talk about the challenge last season now apparently, we didn't get within a sniff of winning a cup (semi finals don't count).

I think he deserves another season, it's not alot to ask. We had a poor season, yet most of our YNWA'ers seem happy to become a club with a culture that changes manager everytime they have a season of poor form. Cf, Dalglish and Rodgers.
It's more a case of change the manager when better ones are available. Pretty much like you do with players.
I get that but do you think he can get us in the top 4 next season? Personally I think that is highly unlikely.

We are in a position now where looking to keep Rodgers could be seen as being far too much of risk.. we are in danger of falling further behind.. Top 4 next season will be even tougher... No doubt about that...
Like Sheik says.. better managers are available.. as a club of this size that we are.. we should be all over it...
We're playing in the 'league' of Swansea and Everton by keeping Rodgers... when we should really be looking to aim much much higher...
Out of all his signings.. and their has been many.. Only really Coutinho can be considered a Success..
We're playing in the league of Swansea and Everton? I really can't be arsed when you come out with all this hyperbole. Daniel Sturridge hasn't been a success? There's zero point in trying to reason with the agenda driven, selective views you dish out on this subject.
Even if you think Rodgers had a major role in producing the title challenge last year, the problem for me is that he's never looked remotely capable of organising a competent defence. So we're probably going to have to score 100 odd goals in a league season to challenge for the title - it's not going to happen.
I just want a less complicated approach. Someone who can organise the team and get it performing more or less to the sum of its parts going forward - that would've been enough this season. I was saying that even quite early on last season, actually - way before I actively wanted Rodgers gone. Because, fine, he might be a brilliant manager in 10 years - I don't think so, but he might - but I'd really just prefer a decent one right now. No brilliance like 2014, but no total disasters either.

Amazing isn't it? He's a bad signing apparently because of an injury plagued season. On the one hand, according to Jono, he's a terrible injury riddled disaster of a signing, but if you want to talk about his goals scored, it's all in spite of Rodgers, because Brendan didn't want him in the first place.
Like I said, it's pointless even trying.
I'd add Sakho and possibly Can to the list but considering how many have been bought while he's been in charge, it's not a great record.

I don't doubt Sturridges ability.. not at all one bit... His injury record has held him back..
If his injury record is to continue in the same way next season.. Wiill you still consider him a successful signing ?
I wouldn't when you consider how much we will be paying for his Services (or lack of)
After the end of season we had it seemed like a good proportion of our fans wanted him sacked and most of the media expected him to get sacked. The players stopped performing at anything like a reasonable level.
Talk of him losing his job didn't come out of the blue and i think the fans expected more and the media thought what we had achieved wasn't enough for him to be retained. If he does stay there will be a lot of journalists who will feel awkward the next time they see Rodgers after the scathingly critical articles that appeared on Monday and Tuesday.
If he does stay i've lost any faith that i had in him and it would take something remarkable to change that.
