And Ayre would probably also spell Ancelotti Anncelotti.... 😉
This from the guy who tried to tell me the Italian word "capisce" was a French word "capiche"?
His luck has turned. At the Managers' Association awards event he won the raffle, landing himself a 'dining experience'. Well done Brendan!
Dining experience?
Now there's an ambiguous title for a prize, that could mean absolutely anything, from a KFC meal to an evening in the Ritz.
Knowing Brendan it's probably a Boots meal deal on a park bench.
Dumped out of a semi, in one of those cups we didn't get close to winning. Like the league challenge that doesn't count either
I don't think he ever got humbled by minnowsWhatever Sean, bring back Benitez eh, he never lost against minnows.

Aside, did anyone mention benitez?
Mark, in your heart of hearts do you think he can set out a team to challenge again?
I think he deserves another season, it's not alot to ask. We had a poor season, yet most of our YNWA'ers seem happy to become a club with a culture that changes manager everytime they have a season of poor form. Cf, Dalglish and Rodgers.

I agree with Sheik...
We are in a position now where looking to keep Rodgers could be seen as being far too much of risk.. we are in danger of falling further behind.. Top 4 next season will be even tougher... No doubt about that...
Like Sheik says.. better managers are available.. as a club of this size that we are.. we should be all over it...
We're playing in the 'league' of Swansea and Everton by keeping Rodgers... when we should really be looking to aim much much higher...
Out of all his signings.. and their has been many.. Only really Coutinho can be considered a Success..
Yeah Sturridge wasn't a success.
Fucking hell he scored 50 goals for the club quicker than 99% of the goalscoring legends we had at the club.
Utter failure.
I don't doubt Sturridges ability.. not at all one bit... His injury record has held him back..If Coutinho is a success then how in the name of holy fucks is Sturridge not one
