Can't wait to see him back in the fold. I reckon this new system will suit him too.

His bite and passion was missed earlier in the season.
He was setting the tone for games last year when he'd send some fancy Dan cunt into the stand after a few minutes.

Agreed - I think he'd look great as a wing back too. I was quite often impressed with him going forwards even though he was often compared to GlenJo's one good attack per season constantly.

Like Suarez said though, he knew what he could and couldn't do, which made him more productive. We could really do with him back.

I like Flanno but I'm not as sure as some of you fellas that the current system would suit him. Our defence needs remodelling though, so maybe it'll suit him better once it's been spiffed up. Good player either way and I defo want to keep him.

Inglethorpe played him as a wing back, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, the last time he had a run in the reserves, specifically to improve on his attacking play and positional sense. He did very well, I thought.

I'm a bit miffed at this thread to be honest. Despite more than proving his defensive credentials last season, Flannigan is no more than average going forward and if you think otherwise, you're kidding yourself.

For me, Manquillo and Moreno are our best fullbacks but they'll have to at their best to keep a place in side, so that in itself is reassuring.

He may be limited technically? Deck off Suarez, you don't put that in print about a teammate.

Sturridge is out for another month? Flaming Nora.

I know, we need to stop with this 'when Sturridge is back' narrative because hes clearly never going ti be fit on a long term basis. We need an alternative lead striker in the long term

Every scouser that plays for Liverpool or Everton has rumours about snorting.

I imagine there's a grain of truth in a few of them, but I doubt it's true that often, regular cocaine use & training to their level don't go hand in hand.
