He could catch Cole this season which would be outrageous.
Still maintain if he stays until he is 36/37 he can catch Shearer.
Another season and he should get outright second.
Ya Shearer is only fifth and scored 23 goals pre EPL too.
Despite my occasional harsh words on Salah I want him to finish top scorer and of course culminate with us winning the PL and CL should see him sneak the Golden Balloon too.
Re-sign on a new 3 year contract, keep him for next season (and another PL & CL double) and then sell him to the Saudis for £100m. See Richard? This stuff is easy.

Exactly, after the quiet 3 weeks over Jan. Boy is picking up. The last 2-3 seasons he has dropped off after Christmas, if he can keep this up and we can rest him when we can, it will help us towards the tail end.

Genuine question: does it matter that Salah is so often basically shit? Is there more to the game than just numbers? For me Suarez was always brilliant for us, almost every game he played, even when he was getting like 1 in 3 the first 18 months.
I think people are being disingenuous when they act baffled that he's not always up for the ballon d'or etc. It's cos he doesn't really play like a world class player that often - he just consistently produces world class numbers. And that's obviously the most important thing for us. But let's not pretend like it's everything there is.
