Mate you shouldn't be blowing his horn after that abysmal showing. Anyone could have taken and scored a penalty and he was literally crap for the rest of the match.
Not many would want a penalty. Would you let Nunez step up? Personally I was hoping he would be rested for this game but as 6th game of CL ideally should be reserves but due to the horrible new elongated new format and nature of the rest of strikers, he played another 94 mins.
We should be grateful we have a striker who is firing because at times, her is carrying that front line. It's not great for rest of the strikers that he has contributed to 75% of the goal involvements.
Actually the Real Madrid game showed it’s never a given plus most attackers were abysmal. While others have weeks where they look amazing (Diaz, Gakpo), they equally have many games where they have no impact on the outcom while Salah just quietly continues to make the difference.
It’s not always about playing well and Mo is not immune to playing shite either.
The difference is, even when he’s shite he usually finds a way to influence the outcome anyway.
