His first touch, passing, movement and body feints.

If he improved his tackling, aggression and defensive awareness, no reason why he should be starting in this team over CJ.

No it was Jones at first, but later in the half Gravy started dropping deap and collecting the ball instead.

Controlling the midfield won't come from having someone like Endo. He's a battler, enforcer etc, but his passing and movement to receive the ball into space isn't top tier.

Better control will come from having midfielders who can actually control a ball under pressure, or drop a shoulder Rodri/Busquets style when pressured, and not have the ball run away from them.

Bajcetic is a potential midfield controller, but I kind of feel like he's 2-3 seasons away still from that. In the meantime, we do we spend 50m to get someone else in, who might block his progress? Or do we use Gravy/CJ/Macca there?
