They'll probably give in at about 25, considering they've signed Rondon. Not sure how he'll play Kane and Berahino at spurs though.

Lucas Silva has nearly signed for Marseille I think.

Spurs probably need to bid close to 30.

5 days and counting. With a surfeit of strikers, I suppose we all expect WBA to let Berahino go to Spurs after successfully posturing for a few more quid for Pulis to bring in another boring player to add to a boring and dull squad which will eventually lead to his boring, dull and unspectacular departure.

I'm surprised about the lack of stories on City bringing in another striker. de Bruyne will add some goals, but in terms of specialist central strikers, they have only Aguero and Bony left. I hope they think Sterling is a striker.

Hopefully, Wenger and Van Gaal will stay stubborn about not needing to add to their perfect squads.

Chelsea's squad is pretty complete if they add Stones; whether the old guard of Terry and Ivanovic will rebel and spark a mutiny as their minutes get cut is another thing. It just doesn't feel quite right in the Chelsea camp at the moment.

We could use another full back ourselves, as there's still quite a few months between now and Flanagan's return. Going with three full backs (Clyne, Gomez, Moreno) for another 3 to 4 months seems a bit risky, unless one of the U21s is deemed ready to step up when needed. Maybe Cleary (CB; played FB against Swindon in the pre-season and did well).

No news about Borini and Enrique, so I suppose the lion and the selfies will be around for a while more.

Sakho is also a strong LB and Toure can play RB so with U21 players added into the mix we are covered for emergencies, LC, EL etc.

If WBA sell Berahino, I hope we loan them Origi - he could do well there as Rondon's partner.

Chelsea confident of signing Pogba (Independent)

They've got Rondon, Lambert, Anichebe and Ideye after they sell Berahino, aren't in Europe, and won't go far in cup tournaments, so I don't think they need another striker unless they give up on Ideye and Anichebe.

Besides, we won't gain anything placing our attacking players in Pulis' hands.

West Brom should keep raising the price on Berahinho, terrible bargaining position for Spurs.

I'd love Spurs to get desperate, try for Austin and get rebuffed by QPR, and then settle for.... Borini for 7m. He's not totally useless - he can score a few goals given enough minutes, and can give Kane a break for the cup games, and I'm sure he and his missus will love to make the move south, especially on the same pay.

Wishful thinking, but hey, Spurs does weird stuff, so who knows.

Spurs now looking at Son from Leverkusen. £18m fee apparently. In London for medical. He wasn't in Leverkusen champions leHue squad. He's decent, a good addition alongside Kane.
