I don't think i had a very high opinion of him....i doubt i said anything on the matter here though.

I think many questioned how he would fit into the Rodgers style of play at Liverpool.
I was torn as I didn't particularly want to sign him but I definitely didn't want Man U to sign him for whom I reckon he would be perfect for.
With Jurgen in charge I have a lot more faith in Benteke being utilized to get the best of his strengths.

I predicted that Allen and Milner would really thrive under Klopp.

Many people alluded to him being the 'new Andy Carroll'. Carroll was probably the most used comparison in any Benteke thread. Pissed everyone else off !
Some maybe but I suspect many is stretching it considerably.
I think there were a lot more concerned about how he would fit in to how we played though probably lots overall underestimated his abilities without resorting to making trite comparisons with so called donkeys
Speculation rather than prediction, gene. If I were to put money on it either way, I'd bet on Milner but (sadly, 'coz I like him as well) against Allen.
