Pleasantly surprised by all of our signings this summer. Milner has been quiet past few weeks, but still an excellent signing with loads of useful experience all over the pitch.

This summer will prove to be our best in years and last summer's may end up alright, as well. Can and Lallana are quality (regardless of value) and Markovich and Moreno still have excellent potential.

Benteke surprises me. He's not a great player but he might just be a great striker.

I liked how eager he was to link-up with teammates. Whenever the pass didn't find him he would gesticulate and show where he wanted the ball. And when the finally started passing to him he was quick to reciprocate, for instance the 1-2 with Coutinho was perfectly executed.

The teamwork aspect was the main worry I had about him and so far he is dispelling the doubts. And his goalscoring instincts are excellent.
