Last 3 years he has averaged about 33 games per season for Villa without any European footy and thats after having one serious injury that kept him out for 12 games.
The comparison with Sturridge is incorrect obviously. Sturridge is injury prone.
If he's back for the Chelsea game then I dont see a problem with him being out tonight.
