Pepe to Barcelona?

Vorms a solid keeper, who's prone to lapses

So it's hardly an upgrade on reina

7 of Reina's clean sheets came with Carra in the starting lineup (15 starts - one of them was earlier in the season and we drew 1 - 1 in that game; think it was Chelsea at the Bridge if I'm not wrong). That means we kept only 7 clean sheets in the other 23 games.

MUNDO ponder if Reina has said goodbye to Anfield.

He seemed to hang around on the pitch a long time after the match.
Taking pictures, soaking up the atmosphere.
He seemed a touch emotional/sentimental too me.
@Binny

I was looking for signs he was saying goodbye and it did not seem like he was to me, until he went to go down the tunnel with a kid in his arms. Seemed like a lot of goodbye waves then. But then people always act weird where little kid are concerned.
Hate this 'everyone bring your kids out onto the pitch' thing. Started with that prong Dennis Wise lifting the FA Cup holding his kid. They're at work for fuck's sake. No one should be allowed to fill their workplace with frigging toddlers.

I was pissed with suso and Enrique.

Right at the front of the procession and the fuckers didn't do a solitary acknowledgement to the crowd.

Everyone else did at least a mini wave.

Yep.
Said this after the match.
We were in the Annie Rd end and they were strolling about twenty yards ahead of the rest chatting away seemingly oblivious to the clapping crowds.
Cunts.
If people were prepared to hang back to applaud the players, and most of the crowd did, then they least they could do was acknowledge it.
In contrast Henderson seemed to go out of his way to applaud the fans.
He will be captain one day that lad, hopefully lifting the premiership trophy aloft.

It's the wrong attitude.

Suso is probably being a whiney bitch that he's never getting in the first team while coutinho is fit

Yeah I'm a bit surprised with his attitude. But at the same time it needs to be said that Suso and Coutinho aren't competing for the same spot. Suso is more of deep lying playmaker. Just see where he's playing for Spain.

Barcelona shouldn't at any point set a price for Pepe. He is our player. despite a slump in recent years he seems to have found some form again.

Arsenal were prepared to pay up to 25M for him. A minimum of 20M should be the asking price if we are going to sell.

he had a bit of a face on him too when Ibe was sitting down and getting handshakes after he came off

shitty attitude with the crowd but it's good he's not happy to be sitting on his ass, he needs a loan

I've seen a few people saying Pepe is almost certain to leave

Bild claims we are interested in ex Man Utd youth keeper Ron-Robert Zieler, who has sinced moved to Hannover and became a 1st team regular. His agent Neuhaus Gunter was quoted as confirming our interest and fee mentioned is 8 million.

Ron-Robert Zieler (Hannover 96) has made the most saves in the Bundesliga this season, with 132.

Yes, another good young German keeper. He played for Germany national team in a friendly against Ukraine and conceded 3 goals.

We are in big trouble defensively if you ask me if he is on his way. He may have had a dip in form but he is back almost up to his best. But where are we going to find a sweeper keeper who is so good on the ball. I think I would eat my own fist if we had to watch a keeper like Hart hoof the ball with every back pass conceding possession all the time. I think he is essential to the way we build from the back.
