Begovic, Ter Stegen, Leno and Sirigu are all good but will probably cost a shitload.

Mignolet doesnt impress me as much these days.

I dont want Vorm or McCarthy.

So you spend 12-15 million on him, and you have a #1 keeper for the next 12-15 years. It's a worthwhile investment.

Rui Patricio is a great shout.

I'd sign Diego Lopez aswell if the new manager makes Casillias nr 1 again.

I'll have to get a new avator.

Me too 🙁

Anyway we are going to have 100s of stories linking us to Vorm aren't we.

So thats Carra, Skrtl, Reina , Coates to be replaced in one summer. Hell of a job for our scouts.

Will that be enough to get him though? I'd love to sign him by the way. Could be the best gk in the world

Would Pepe leave for just a two year deal?

I can't imagine he's going to come much cheaper than Valdes either.

Ter Stegen is their nr 1 gk though and one of the most sought after youngsters in the world.
Has only got 2 years left on his contract mind.

@berglucci @GuillemBalague no secret that #LFC quiety looking to off-load Reina - massive wages, age, form, all against him.

I hope you're not suggesting our team of analysts may not choose the best goalkeeper gene.

I think the priority of low wage demands, young age & minimum transfer fee could get us, well, someone who can wear the kit at least.

lol now rumours of Puyol to Milan are going around today.

Valdes out Reina in.
Puyol out Hummels in.

I hope this doesn't happen. He's been in bright form of late, we need a bit of stability right now.

LIVERPOOL FC insist they have received no approach from Barcelona for goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
Reports in Spain have suggested that the Catalan giants are confident of securing a 10million euros (£8.4million) swoop for the Spanish shot-stopper on a two-year deal.
Barcelona are understood to want Reina, who is under contract at Anfield until 2016, to replace Victor Valdes this summer.
However, Reds officials insist there has been no contact between the clubs. Boss Brendan Rodgers recently insisted that the 30-year-old was not for sale and would continue as his No 1 next season.
Reina began his career at Barcelona before moving to Villarreal. Since signing for Liverpool in a £6million deal in 2005 he has made 392 appearances.

Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen could be on his way to Barcelona, reports have suggested.

Mundo Deportivo believe that the Catalan club are in the process of making a bid for the 21-year-old, as they look to replace Victor Valdes between the posts.

Liverpool shot-stopper Pepe Reina has been heavily linked with the a move to Camp Nou, and the paper has insisted that that move will still go ahead as planned at the end of the season.

The Germany international is instead seen as a long-term investment for Tito Vilanova's side. An offer of around €15m could be enough to secure his signature.

Liverpool will demand exciting young striker Christian Tello in exchange for Barcelona target Pepe Reina.

The Spanish giants believe the knowledge and experience of former Nou Camp starlet Reina make him the perfect candidate to replace their first-choice goalkeeper Victor Valdes, who is expected to leave the club in the summer.

Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has consistently maintained he doesn't want to lose the Spanish international, but he would be prepared to listen if Barca throw Spain Under-21 forward Tello into the mix.

Tello, regarded as a coming man in Spanish football, can operate both as a central striker or wide attacking player - exactly the versatile sort of forward Rodgers is looking to recruit for the Reds this summer.

The 21-year-old has a release clause in his contract priced at around £8.5million, and, after failing to force his way into the starting line-up at Barca on a regular basis this season, will seriously consider his options in the summer.

Barcelona have indicated they are ready to spend as much as £10m to ensure they bring Reina back to a club he graced as a youngster.

The experienced Anfield number one made his debut at the Nou Camp aged 18, after graduating through the youth academy, and it is his knowledge of the way the club operates which is so attractive to coach Tito Vilanova.

The deal will hinge on how Tello, who was linked with Anfield as far back as last summer, views his future after making just 11 starts in La Liga this season.

For Rodgers, Tello fits Liverpool's profile perfectly, and even though he is inclined to keep Reina, he would be sorely tempted to pull the trigger if a deal could be struck.

Rodgers is keen to build on this season's experience, and has been massively encouraged by the impact made by exciting young signings Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge in January.

Meanwhile, Reds' boss Rodgers has admitted his first year at Anfield has been a struggle at times - but he has been encouraged by the mentality of his new players, who are in the same mould as Tello, and insisted he needs more of the same in the summer.

"This year has provided a great learning curve for me and I look back and see that it was learning that I needed," he explained.

"If we improve our mentality in the summer - by signing players who have that consistent, winning mentality - we can improve again.

"That's the job of the recruitment team and the club to identify those types of players. They might not always be the best players but what we need in the second year of this project is to find a great level of consistency.

"You build a mentality in your group and you get the types of players who can be on it every single game.

"I've loved every minute of being here and the small steps of where we want to go. But now I want to make bigger steps."

He actually made 12 starts in the leage (not 11 as stated in the article). 7 goals 4 assists, 1164 mins played (avg a goal/assist every 105 mins).

That also happens to be Sturridge's league-leading average. The signs are there. We're getting 105 points next season.

It will be fantastic having this awesome, youthful, skillful, energetic bunch of front players, but we need a rock solid fucking defence and keeper. Great teams are built on parsimonious defence as well as attack. I hope Rodgers is onto this.
