No it doesn't, it makes no sense at all, it doesn't make a difference to Southampton, both of the players have the same deal with how much the sell on fee is.
I actually don't think this is connected to the lallana deal, unless the 9 million fee is true, but then why would all the reliable sources be saying 4? maybe the add ons are worth like 5 million which southampton get if Lambert plays like one game for us, do add ons have to be disclosed?
I can't pretend to be excited about lambert signing, its just a 'meh' signing to me. I don't care whether we get a marquee signing or not, but rodgers said he wasn't going for squad players anymore just first team players. Lambert isn't a first team player. he' not gonna push studge or suarez for a start in the team. Only thing he's done is replace aspas. He's already going downhill in his career and couldn't even start regularly for southampton. We're in the champions league, we should be aiming for higher IMO.
