Tabloid filler. We don't have any money and will only be offloading dead wood in Jan to lower the wage bill. These yank fuckers don't care, it's all about spending low and squeezing every last penny out of us.

Are you making foghorn-like announcements to the world based on insider knowledge, or do you just have no interest in discussing matters as a mere equal with some opinions?

Fuck off back to RAWK, you snivelling superfan beaut.

I think he'd be a decent striker to have on the bench. The only thing I'd be against is getting rid of Voronin to make funds available, as he's my favourite player, he's one of the most underrated players in the squad!!
[/quote] *swoon*

RVN is a great option to have on the bench especially if Torres gets crocked and needs an operation. At least we'll have an old warhorse with proven pedigree ready to step up.

I stop reading this at the headline "Horseface to snub Arsenal".. I mean, come on, after all the history between RVN and Arsenal, they wouldn't be interested in signing his son, let alone the man himself. I presume the rest of the article is similar BS.

I doubt Wenger would be that petty if he thought it'd improve his squad and help them challenge for the title/Champs league.

I think you doubt wrong in this instance.

Behind Teddy Sheringham, he's probably the most hated player for an Arsenal fan.

Add to that the fact he's 33 (and Wenger likes 'em young).. and has had 2-3 big injuries, to even think Wenger would be interested is ridiculous. The article is simply a column filler. I dare say the journalist was probably laughing as he was typing it out.

Bringing back a striker who will score goals if fit on just wages is a no-brainer, the bonus is that it will do to Mancs with RVN on their old shirts what it did to our fans with Mr win things.

Fuckin hell..

Signing a forward who's knees have gone..

Please please no...

The last Madrid reject we signed was a complete failure.. and this one will be too...

33, past it and knees gone.. No Thanks...

On loan and then on a free? I'd do it.

I'm more convinced by the bold bit to be honest. Wenger is probably unlikely to spend a part of his budget on a recently crocked older player - although Ruud would be a useful player to have around young strikers.

I'm still unconvinced he'd be that bothered about fan reaction should he consider Ruud would improve the squad. Didn't 'Arry make some noises about taking Sol Campbell back to the Lane recently? That'd be far more controversial.

well 2 dutch horses are better than one.

and great insight gene! 😉

We had Ince why not Horseface?

We badly need a striker, Nistleroy is fit after his long injury and he really needs to play to get to the WC.
Im all for it and Id like to see him play with Torres up front with Stevie behind them.
