Whatever, predictable cunt.
Not as good other recent matches, but decent enough all the same. Modo and MT can fuck off.
He wants a reaction. Leave him to it.
Ha.yep he did tackle back well, he tail is well up
still wish he shot more, he should have told Luis to move out of the way on the free kick which no right footer could have score from
still need more balls Stu - come on lad
Indeed. I really couldn't see how Suarez was going to hit it, unless he went around the other side of the wall.yep he did tackle back well, he tail is well up

I thought he was brilliant last night.
every game? what you smokin dude?Another good game today. He deserves every start he's getting since December.
I was adamant I didn't want to see him in a red shirt again in November - his displays for the past 3 months have changed my mind. If he keeps up this level of performance, I wouldn't be opposed to us keeping him in the squad for next season. I won't have problems with us selling him too as I think we can get better players to start there, but right now I'm not so dead set on us selling him anymore. I'm ambivalent, that is.
He's nowhere near the 20m we paid for him, but that's a problem caused by our own faulty valuation. Somehow, Rodgers has managed to find the key to unlock the chest in which Downing's ability has been hiding.

He's not a £20m winger though. You can't hate on him because he hasn't been living up to his price tag. Personally I think he's playing really well for what I think he SHOULD be valued at. And I'm really happy with his form since the Christmas, or thereabouts. He is playing much better, I still want a bit more from him tbh, nice header yesterday was certainly good to see, keeper had no chance.
Strangely I thought he was better last week than yesdy.... he went fairly anonymous for a good while.... but then a lot of the play was down the left via Coutinho ( what a find he is by the looks) but yeah.... you cant argue with his recent outings.
He will earn a grovelling apology from me to the God of Football justice when he digs us out of a bad situation when the team is playing badly, like a 20M pound winger should..... unfair maybe but I want him to earn it....
At current rate of improvement he may well do it.

No, you're not alone in thinking that. Many would agree (me included). We are all aware that he is not a 20M pound winger the trouble is that is roughly what we paid and definitely what we need.
This will only descend into a an argument about semantics, I am pleased he is playing well honestly I am NM, it is tedious to go over it again I think we can all agree on that. I personally don't see that he brings that much to the side and have yet to change my mind on that point. This does not mean he can't play a role or indeed show why we spent so much on him and he will have my support for whatever that means.
My opinion is that If we could get a decent fee for him I would be inclined to sell, maybe i'm alone in thinking that.
If he continues in current form to the end of the season, I wouldn't sell. Why risk trying to reinvest the 7 million we'd get for him, when he's actually one of our most consistent performers? Since BR told him we were looking to get rid he not only stepped it up, he looks like he now believes he deserves to be a Liverpool player, something he self evidently didn't think was true before.
Unless we get an offer worth well more than his real value, then I'd hang on to him. I can see the arguments against, but similarly, I didn't want us to sell Riera, who I thought gave us a great shape and balance, even though he wasn't ripping opponents to shreds. So it goes with Stu. At least for now....
