Tyler Morton: “The manager has come in and tactically stamped his authority hugely. I think that’s a massive credit to him and his coaching staff.”“For myself, it’s been a massive learning period and a period in which I’ve had to be really patient and wait for that chance to come, but I’ve been really working hard on myself.“To be a Liverpool footballer you’ve got to be able to do a lot of things and for me that means playing both midfield positions as the six and the eight who drops deeper to help the number six. I’ve been learning both positions and the manager’s been testing me and putting me in positions where I need to get better, which is only going to help me.”“That number eight is the position that I always played when I was younger, before I came into professional football. I used to be a box-to-box eight, defending and then getting into the box to score goals and create.”“The manager’s changed my game really well and he’s helping to develop me in situations that I probably wouldn’t have had the chance to be in when I was playing in just the six role.”“I’ve found it tough at times being on the bench or not being on the bench but I feel that my head is really screwed on so I’m working on what I can do and giving everything I can to be available to play.”

Great to see Doak and Koumas getting minutes and performing well. Shame we can't recall them for a month then send them back in Jan.

The Baj has some nifty footwork, that's something you can confidently say about him but unfortunately his fitness will always come into question and I'm also unsure about his quality in terms of awareness and aggression off the ball, to feature regularly in this team you have to be on point in this aspect. I'd like to say he his long term future is at Liverpool but I'm leaning to him being behind the curveball.

He definitely has the fundamentals.
Just needs to play games. Might need another loan move to a more competitive league.

Another loan move? We'd have long moved on signing targets in his position, needs to show Arne he's in contention after this loan otherwise it's adios amigo.

No I mean recalling him and sending him to the Championship.

And while they're devising this elaborate plan...

Great to hear that, hope he has a future at LFC. Where does he play? LW/RW?
On the right of a 4231. Games like today are a good test for him because he's playing against a someone who was in the Prem last season and there are many around in the championship who have some degree of Prem experience.

Now he's just got a man booked for selling him a dummy. Scottish Messi.

& now he's just got his 2nd assist of the game.

Very direct , simple enough cut back and a nice finish.
