Sensational start to the season.

Add Robertson, Thiago, Henderson and Fabs fun the start and we’ll be very impressive with a decent bench too.

The big question is whether I should cash out with 4 legs of a 5 leg multi. Utd, Liverpool, Leicester, Chelsea wins. Just waiting on City.

Salah with 35 assists since he arrived in the league. Only KDB with 50 has more.

Imagine if he wasn’t selfish didn’t shoot everytime he had the ball 😀

I look forward to United fans getting sanctioned for their discriminatory anti Scouse songs this season. Fat Spanish waiter is xenophobic. Sanctioned! In fact, just a light applause for 90 minutes, please. Thank you.
Ditto every club in the land for chanting "bin-dippers".

With the odds on those you'll likely get 50p back on the £

Missed the second half, how was Harvey's cameo?
Arguably too eager to impress. Lot of positives (high oress, good runs, decent passing), but think he may have tried too hard to make sure he was on the ball, rather than being available for the ball.

I don't blame him. After ox stank the place out, while thiago and hendo arent ready there's potentially a spot for him

Nice one. Hopefully as h gets more opportunities he settles a bit

Salah's agent is such a prick.

Tsimikas started well but faded and got worse as the game progressed with a few pretty dodgy moments.

Fabinho is as important to us as anyone else in this team.

Yes I was think that about Tsimikas from around the 75 min he looked shot
Also thought that VVD looked Leaden-footed.think he needs another 3-4 games to get back to full match fitness

i thought he was good in the first hour. then faded. most probably gassed.
if it is a fitness issue. we do have a decent backup for robbo.

I thought that Tsimikas was very good offensively early doors but I am not sure I trust him defensively.
Even in the first half he made some poor clearances with his right foot, which doesn't appear to be great, one of which led directly to a Norwich attack and all of them seemed a bit rushed. Plus he landed on his arse and gave Norwich a good opportunity to attack. All in the first half before he tired.
I can understand if he was a bit nervous and it does take time for players to adjust to the pace of Premier League so hopefully these defensive lapses gets ironed out and we end up with a great understudy for Robbo

I thought - can we think of a nickname for him now please - played well enough that we didn't really miss Robbo. It's the midfield I'm worried about. Ox is fucking shit and the Guinean Lucas can just fucking die.

We won’t see that midfield again. I expect the Spanish Lucas, Henderson and Fabinho to start on Saturday.

We do anyway. Tsimikas' passing is generally better than Robbos, his crossing too since he's two footed (and has been sublime in the last 3 games). However defensively Robbo has him beat all ends up. But as a backup when Robbo is injured, needs a rest or just to play in FAC/LC ? Tsimikas is easily good enough.

Having watched the 2nd half on catchup now he definitely faded after the hour mark, and was perhaps a little weak in his one-on-ones, but I seem to remember there being a few occasions over the game where he showed pretty good positional sense and provided the clearance in what would otherwise have been quite dangerous Norwich attacks?

Ability wise, he's practically a left sided clone of Neco Williams, with all his pros and cons.

Fucking hell, that’s harsh. I’ve not seen Neco Williams play as well as he did for the first 70mins, especially the quality of his deliveries. Coming into the side and straight away taking over corner responsibility on that side is no mean feat.

I’m not sure he’s going to be that brilliant, but to me it was simply a case than on 70mins he had emptied the tank, and looked absolutely knackered.

He's probably a bit better thats fair, he just reminds me of him so much in what's he's good at, and what he really sucks at. He's a solid backup for Robbo though.

How did Matip and Keita do?
Keita is a compete and utter non-entity.

If Curtis Jones put in a performance like that we’d say he was ineffective. At £50m and £120k a week he is sinkhole of wasted time, effort and resources. He is making Andy Carroll look like a smart bit of business.

Clearly in last chance saloon so hopefully we will see him just go nuts and try everything he has in his locker over the next few weeks. A hamstring strain and 4weeks on the sidelines seems more likely
