I think you know (we all know) that Milner, Henderson and even with Gini in there its our most pedestrian uncreative midfield three. Its small wonder the front three are having to come so deep, nothing is linking.

Would we definitely win with a Keita or Shaq in midfield? No, but we would at least be on the front foot.

This is a ‘dont lose’ midfield three. And its not working.

We are conceeding more unless we change this.

Yeah, but can you guarantee Keita or Fab wouldn't have just made it a "do lose" three?

The plan almost worked. Now, I agree, it'll need changing. I'm just saying, no three has established itself as better against this caliber of opponent yet.
