Ironically, if we hadn't rested so many players in the final game of the Champions League group stage, we probably wouldn't have lost against PSV with such a weakened team and therefore wouldn't have had to play PSG in the first knockout round.

This makes me sad.

If results that day stayed the same but we beat or drew with psv, it would have been benfica v feyenoord and Monaco v Brest, as psg would have placed higher. Meaning benfica or feyenoord if draws stayed the same

I think I right in saying that a draw would also would have meant that Arsenal played PSG in R16.

A win for us and Arsenal still play PSG, but City play Bayern instead of Real who would have played PSV.)

The rest would have been the same, like Villa in the QF, but in the SF it would have been one of Arsenal, PSG or Real Madrid.
