Match Thread Spurs (A) - Coca Cola Cup Semi First Leg - Weds 20:00

Jones has showed in the last 2 games why he's not there as a top notch cm ...

Sucky result but it is what it is.

Needs to get back to winning so we're ready for a potentially season defining game vs forest

We got what we deserved there. I'm not angry Bergvall was still on the pitch. His first yellow wasn't a yellow.

Let them have their moment. It's half time.

If i had faith that we will turn a corner by then, i'd be more positive.

Players are miserably out of form, and it's only really Szob to come back. He's clearly been missed, but that doesn't excuse some of the drops in level weve had

Well that was shite, full team almost, played shite, lost another CB, lost the game, everyone knackered, confidence drained.

Lightening strikes twice with a 2-2 against utd in the league and a cup defeat.

Fuck Sake.

Its a week and a half since we put 5 past West Ham away. Miserably out of form is a bit dramatic.

It's happening again...our owners never learns.
But I blame Slot too. What's the point of having Elliott and Chiesa on the bench?
They are both fucking shit , thats why its bollox to bring them on. The coach sees them every week in training, he knows what a good player is.. the difference maker not just effort and running. Mo pissed me off today, it was all just shit and I knew as soon as Trent came on we would lose eventually. My biggest concern is VVD we are gonna kill the guy forget injury.

Miserable display. What on earth went on with the poor control and abysmal passing - and you can't lay that at the feet of any one player. Almost all were at it.

Ali with 3 awful moments, 2 in the same breath and then he almost did it again a couple of minutes later.
Salah was utter shite - a total waste of space, if he wasn't passing it to no-one then he was losing possession some other way.

Few come out if that with any pride intact ; Virgil, Bradders & Gravy perhaps.

Anyway with this game the one where our 24 match unbeaten run broke down, I'm not that arsed. It didn't cost us anything except needing to work harder in the return at Anfield.

Yeah but look at the first one. It wasn't a yellow. Booked the wrong player
He didn't book the wrong player - he booked him because he was the one that stopped the attack (people may say the first wasn't a Yellow, however he caused Diaz to fall whether he caught him or not and that stopped the break - so Yellow). The second is indisputable - clear Yellow.

Why is Jones still on the pitch doing jack shit then?

Slot hasn't won a game of football in a week, so I'm just hoping he's angry enough to demand more in the run of games that on paper we should be winning and moving clear of Arsenal. If we are to lose then an away tie in the League Cup is the time to do it.

Konate, Bradley, Tsimikas Jota are all coming back from injury and it showed. We grew into the game but there was a general lack of will and urgency to break the deadlock. Meh

You could tell we played a day later than them. We also showed how much more we need Slobby than Jones. I may lay into Salah but Jones has been abysmal recently. Gravy needs a rest.
