I really hope this is just bullshit, it looks like it's pretty much sealed though, fucking typical, I hate Spurs.

Ha, Touché FFF.

It's not Kenny, but I was quite excited about this kid, he's going to turn into another one of those bargain young players who becomes absolutely brilliant at Spurs, I'd like one of them to turn absolutely brilliant here for once.

The fact that he's a Manc might just have had a say in his decision, I would think.

I'm not too arsed. There are scores of other options for the AM spot if we look hard enough.

If you're referring to me that's bullshit Mark. I'm simply wondering why it hasn't been wrapped up given it's likely he'll want to play for Rodgers again and reports today that Spurs have serious interest. I was intimating that the player might have had his head turned rather than anything we're doing wrong. I also made clear that none of us know what's going on.

As for the "slating the lad after two weeks" bollocks. Well, it's bollocks.

Budha, I hadn't even seen your post and generally respect what you post anyway. I was talking about the usual cretins. It's always the same posters moaning about shit from the off, and usually the same ones ripping into the team and trigger happy about everything. The microwave generation eh?

Unless we had offered silly wages and a huge fee, how is it possible for us to have this signing wrapped up?

The selling club are going to hold off for as long as they can in the hope of getting more cash, and the player is going to be advised to take his time and see what offers come along. Only a fool or a 100% red would jump in and sign straight away.

Where have the 'Spurs agreement' reports come from? I can't see anything anywhere, least of all on SSN.

EDIT:

Big news out of Germany, folks. Though with how things have gone with rumored Tottenham Hotspur transfers and managerial appointments, I'm not going to believe that Tottenham have actually signed anyone until they announce it themselves. According to a report by Bild in Germany, Tottenham have agreed to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim for €10m.
Sigurdsson played on loan with Swansea this season and agreed to sign for them before Brendan Rodgers was appointed Liverpool manager. He backed out of the transfer as Liverpool became the clear favorites to sign him, but as Bryan posted this morning, rumors started to swirl that Tottenham were going to steal him away.
If Bild is correct, those rumors were true and Spurs are going to add the talented attacking midfielder. Making a move like this before a manager is place is certainly curious, considering the number of attack-minded central players currently on the Tottenham roster, but I'm not going to argue with the signing if this is confirmed tomorrow.
Thoughts? Do you believe the rumor? If you believe it, are you happy with the move?

but bild is a tabloid isn't it ....so no idea if you can trust everything they say

I still wonder if this is about getting more money from us . We'll see .

surely this is a massive gamble for him , to move somewhere without knowing who the manager will be . And i don't think they've told him , if they knew for certain they'd announce it .

Just seems odd but money talks obviously .

I'd be shocked if they have but I see the story by Daily Mail, Goal.com and Bild.

Let's see how this plays out.

People seem to think you're reliable, and you've confirmed both Thor and Borini now, do you think we could end up unveiling them both on the same day? That would be a superb start to business for me.

As tempting as it is to keep this up, don't pay me any attention mate, I know nothing.

Bild said Reus had signed for Bayern so....

Bild is a paper that became popular by showing topless women and lacking journalistic integrity.

Doesn't remind me of any Uk rag at all.

Besides, someone from Iceland said he's signing for us. Relax.

An Icelandic midfielder who wasn't good enough for Hoffenheim, and has half a decent season with Swansea goes somewhere other than to us? 1) fuck him if he doesn't want to wear the red shirt. 2) there are dozens of players as good or better out there.

He looked really good in his youtube compilation though.

He obviously knows that managers don't matter.
