Oncy's got a point and you have to factor that Spurs finished above us, they've offered over the odds in wages and his love for playing for Rodgers might not be that great after all. We only want him or are more aware of him by and large because of him playing for Rodgers, he's a 'good' player with the potential to be very good. Certainly not worthy of the overhype while similarly not worthy of all the outcry at the possibility of it falling through.
We've offered a deal, it's up to him to decide. There's no real plausibility to the notion that we've dragged our heals, we've put our cards on the table, if he decides to go elsewhere for more wonga then we know where his priorities lie.

And yeah, Oncy has got a point. But if we had any sort of decent scouting department we' be onto the likes of Gylfi ages ago.

I care because I'd rather have up and coming players like him then Aqua, Downing, Cole etc.
