Is the rumours doing the rounds,

If he was to move, to play Champions League footy. Now is probably the best time to join A Madrid as both Barca & R Madrid will be in transition

A.Madrid have long been the architects of their own misfortune (much like Newcastle in England). They have enjoyed good times recently but I wouldn't rely on that lasting if I was moving there and there seems little prospect of them ever winning the title.

Yeah Bayern, Juve or PSG i'd swallow. Hard to see him going to A.Madrid. I suppose it depends on whether we want to sell as well.

Radamel Falcao will spend next season playing for Monaco - at least until January. El Tigre already has an agreement with Monaco but he has included a release clause which would enable him to rescind his contract should he receive an offer from Real Madrid. Florentino Pérez is aware of this clause, one which Falcao could trigger to achieve his dream of being able to play for Real Madrid.

Curiously, the player will have the first opportunity to exercise the clause in January's inscription period; therefore, it is possible that he could spend the first half of next season at Monaco and the second half at the Bernabéu. It would also conveniently avoid the direct passage of a player between the two city rivals.

The operation, which started to take shape in November of last year when Falcao met with Monaco's millionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev, was closed last week. Monaco will settle the transfer by paying Atlético 55 million euros.

Mirror running with story that he's going to City for 54 million:

Radamel Falcao will become Manchester City’s first signing of the Manuel Pellegrini era after the Etihad club agreed a British record transfer fee for the Atletico Madrid striker, writes the Sunday People.

City have met the £54million buy-out clause in the Colombian’s Atletico contract – to snatch him away from incoming Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Falcao, has long been one of hottest properties in world football and his signing by City will be a boost for the profile of the Premier League.

The deal is also a major coup for Pellegrini, with 27-year-old Falcao keen to work for the Chilean, who is expected to sign a two-year deal at City within a fortnight.

Falcao > City for £58m.

Smashing, that means Athletico have almost raised enough money to afford Luis Suarez.

That's insane money for a 27 year old. Admittedly he probably at his peak, but he's probably only going to decline from here.
