i hope so, them pumping more money into strikers they dont need rather than midfielders and trying to fix their shitty wings is fine by me
Rooney definitely nips to the chipper for two battered sausages & curry chip after every training session. You know when you're starving and start eating it in the car as your drive home cause you just can't wait?
Balague says they've already made a down-payment, like they did in the De Gea deal.
Radamel Falcao's brace against Granada moved him onto 200 career goals. 'El Tigre' made sure of the three points after Diego Costa had put Atlético ahead. The Colombian's first, to make it 2-0, was served to him on a plate by the Brazilian, who had himself latched onto Cristian Rodríguez's wonderful slide-rule pass from deep.
The second was supplied by Koke's cross and allowed Falcao to equal last year's league tally of 24. He has also notched two in the Spanish Cup, one in the Europa League and a famous hat-trick in the UEFA Super Cup final in Monaco.
All this means that 'The Tiger' has now hit the back of the opposition net 30 times this term, putting him just six goals from his haul in his debut season for Atlético. He has eight games left in which to reel in this total: seven in the league, plus the cup final at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Colombian has also moved level with Kiko and Irureta in the club's all-time goalscoring charts, putting him 19th overall, despite this being only his second campaign in Madrid.
Against Granada, the pairing of Falcao and his partner-in-crime Diego Costa was once again simply too hot to handle. The duo has dominated the Atlético goal stakes in recent months, notching 17 of Diego Simeone's side's last 20 strikes (nine for Costa, eight for 'El Tigre').
Simeone was quick to praise the Colombian. "We're delighted that Radamel is back in the goals", the Argentine said after the match.
fuck's sake.
You would have to imagine its very frustrating for him to make a beeline for the chipper straight after training every single day only to find Anderson ahead of him in the queue every time, his positional sense in the chipper is world class, always knows when to make his run

La Sexta, a TV station in Spain, have reported one of the most incredible transfer stories for some time: Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao has agreed terms on a 60 million euro move to Monaco.
First off, it should be pointed out that La Sexta do not generally make up mad claims (according to the always awesome Sid Lowe) and this is a reliable source.
Secondly, Monaco are on the verge of promotion to Ligue 1 in France and have a fantastically rich owner in Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev.
Their low tax rate combined with huge financial resources have meant they are tipped to challenge PSG next season and many clubs in Ligue 1 are urging rules changes for a fairer system on player wages.
The rumours tonight suggest Falcao has agreed terms on a deal with Monaco for 10 million euros a season and that Monaco have triggered the Colombian’s release clause at Atletico Madrid of 60 million euros.
According to Spanish Television channel 'LaSexta' Atlético Madrid's star striker Falcao will be playing at Monaco next season in the French 1st division (the club are currently in the 2nd, but closing in on promotion). The key to any transfer lies in the owner of the club, Russian businessman Dmitry Evgenevich Rybolovlev, who is looking to invest 200 million euros in his team next season. Falcao would be expected to earn 10 million tax free at the club, according to 'LaSexta'.
This newspaper published in April that one of Monaco's priorities was to sign the Colombian star. The main stumbling block to the operation is that, even if the striker is earning three times as much at Monaco as he currently does at Atlético, his new club will not be taking part in any European competition next season.
Why would Suarez go to A.Madrid?
It's a sideways move regardless of them being in the CL.
