I won't bother talking about the negatives as they have probably been discussed in detail.

So what was good over the weekend for us?

Insua had probably his best game defensively for us. His passing was off at times but still a big improvement for him.

Ngo was lively and his movement was excellant. He needs to work on his first touch and vision but he certainly is looking like a good prospect.

Yossi is back and showing again that he is one of a very select few who are in form this year. I really wish he would play in the hole every week.

The greek looks fantastic in the air. Shame he turns like a tank, but our troubles in the air could be over.

We didn't lose.

Good boy Dreamy.

Masherano was excellent, I thought Kygriakos was good too. Gerrard tired, but will be better off for the match fitness, and Babel got injured.

So, yeah - several positives.

I'm loathe to turn this thread into a moan-athon, but to be honest - All Saturday exemplified to me was how very fucking badly we miss Alonso.

Taking him out of that side has left an enormous gaping hole.

Ha ha I'm trying here!

I thought Masher was excellant but I'm biased as I usually think he is very positive. He ran covered alot of ground.

I think Gerrard should have been played in his position until Aquaman was fit but Rafa loves Lucas so there is very little we can do about it.

Lucas himself was ok but again he just doesn't do enough going forward or me. And it really is disappointing how defensive we got after going 1-0 up.

Yeah, Mascherano was excellent, but his distribution was awry, and it's not really his game. City played us well too; they ensured for the most part that freedom was given to those who weren't going to hurt us, like Masher or Skrtel.

Withought Alonso, we look disjointed, lack cohesion, have no real rhythm, and are seriously predictable and therefore easy to negate.

Anyone else think the greek seems to be a bit of a nutter!

No but I do wonder what Dreamy thinks of Roy Keane's comments ?

He played for Rangers and looks like the bady in superman 2.

Skittles looks nuts too.

The ONLY positive from the Citeh game was Rafael getting closer and closer to Liverpool exit. No excuses. Zilch.

We are now 7th and 13 points behind Chelski. And it's November. We'll be lucky to be within 20 points by Christmas at this stage.

Also worth pointing out that 3 of the 4 teams between us and top 2 have games in hand so at the minute we are struggling to qualify for next seasons Europa Cup.

Wonderful.

Glock, I (with all due respect) suggest you remove the phallic object from your posterior and promptly get bent. I personally find you far more tedious than Rage's monotone and somehow you slide under the radar.

Edit: Even if you're right about struggling for the Europa.

I post the truth and nothing more than the truth. The truth hurts Rafael fanboy like you and some others here. The group is getting smaller and smaller and you can say the numbers will tremendously drop come this 30th November when we lose or draw at Blueshite.

I could care less about loyalty to Rafa. I care about this club winning. That may eventually mean Rafa is to be replaced. Not sure we're at that point yet. I haven't heard reports that we've made contact with Dan Petrescu yet.

Your posts are boring, one-agenda crap, barely comprehensible and offer nothing to this forum.

Not sure we're at that point yet?? ?? WHAT?? WHAT?? ??

WE ARE 7TH = FACT

THERE ARE FOUR TEAMS AHEAD OF US IN THE RACE FOR 3RD AND 4TH PLACES = FACT

TEAMS IN 3RD, 5TH AND 6TH HAVE GAMES IN HAND = FACT

WE ARE STRUGGLING TO QUALIFY FOR THE EUROPA CUP AS THINGS STAND = FACT

WAKE THE FUCK UP!!! !!!!

If we want to replace him we better do it NOW!! Get rid of the muppet!!!

Glock, we were in the same position in 2004 and you were all over Rafa-is-the-saviour then. At the risk of indulging you, if we were to fire Rafa today, who would you bring in to replace him?

And I'd love to get rid of the muppet but I don't have the power to get rid of you(r posts).

and Babel got injured. [/quote]

I don't think that's right Ryan - the lad is obviously trying his best to give it one final go with us. He's not been great the past year but he's really giving it a go, and he gets injured and you're happy? It's like someone saying they wish Kuyt went down because just like last year, we've had 2 months of great work rate and nothing else, well - he lost the ball a few times and has slowed us down on numerous attacks.

I don't think Babel will make it - but he's more capable of something special than everyone bar Torres, Gerrard and Yossi. And he just got a chance to prove himself and was having a decent go at it ...

Why would you get rid of me when your're the most ridiculous poster in here? ?

Hiddink and Mourinho to name a few. Heck i'd even let Sammy with King Kenny to be in charged and he'd do a better job than Rafael!

Hiddink who couldn't lead Russia past Slovenia and who hasn't done anything in club football in years? Or Jose who would cost a fortune, have to be talked into leaving his contract at Inter, and be given no funds to improve the current squad? Or Sammy who failed at Bolton? Sammy aside, what makes you think these managers are currently available and would take the post mid-season?

Does anyone have Dan Petrescu's e-mail addy? I'll give him a shout tomorrow.

And I would get rid of you because the antics are tired and ratings are declining. Get some new writers. Preferably ones with a coherent point.
