I've mentioned him a couple times since we were linked in the summer. I've been keeping an eye throughout, and the more I see the more I believe he's going to be something special. I know we've all talked about unearthing the next Falcao, Suarez etc. before anyone else does, and this is the guy we should be after. If the summer reports were true, and we really have been keeping tab of his progress, we better bid for him in January. If he'll cost 10-12 million now, it'll be worth it because it's going to double in a very short span of time.
He'd also fit in perfectly in an attacking three set-up with Sterling and Suarez. St. Etienne have a similar attacking three, and Aubameyang plays all across, through the centre and both the left and right-wing forward slots. He's super quick, has a feather like touch, runs at defenders, has a buzz about him and is generally at the thick of all good attacking play for them. The great thing is, he's also doubling up as the attacker playing off the defence's shoulder, who keeps getting behind the defence and scoring off one-on-one's with the keeper. Very Henry-esque trait of both being able to be out on the wing, and also being able to get in behind defences. And the best thing is that he's come across as a completely instinctive, hungry goalscoring-finisher so far, banging them in first touch, left foot or right foot.
7 goals already this season in Ligue 1. And he's creating plenty every week as well. That's added to his 16 goals and 6 assists last season.
