No problem mateThanks for the offer, but I'll probably hook up with my sister or one of the nephews in the big smoke

Part of me thinks that Nunez & Jones should start because they’ll be super hungry for redemption. But equally they can do that off the bench.
Both are better off the bench IMO, but Nunez may have to start depending on Jota's fitness or lack of it.
Not even close to true. Nunez has 1 goal and two assists in 3 subs performances in the last 3 games (2 vs PSG).Nunez hasn't been any better though, and I'd back Jota ahead of any other LFC player to knock one in even if he's not in his best form - something I would mos def not say about Nunez.
Or at the very least so Nunez isn't relied on for a penI'd start Nunez too, just so Jota can come on against tired legs. He'll be more effective that way.

It won't go to penalties. I just don't see it happening.Or at the very least so Nunez isn't relied on for a pen
Diaz through the middle and who on the left? You could make a case for the reverse tbf. I don't want either to start but the alternative is Diaz through the middle and the thought of that just makes me want to kill someone
I think comes down to Darwin's attitude and reaction after the missed pen. So Jota starts I guess
I see it as Win in the 90 or lose in the 120It won't go to penalties. I just don't see it happening.
Diaz through the middle and who on the left?
In wouldn't mind starting Diaz in the middle. But Gakpo is no where near fit enough to start. If it were to be Diaz through the middle (I wouldn't do that personally, though I rate his "take one for the team" efforts in that role more highly than some) I'd start Nunez left side. He frequently drifted infield from there when he was playing well enough for us to sign him in the first place.
Arne Slot: "Maybe Curtis can play [right-back]. Trent is not available. He won't be there. He is still to be assessed, but we do expect him back before the season ends."
"Konate, yesterday was recovery, I expect him to train with us today."
It perhaps suggests he sees the role in the team as being more of the inverted full-back - I've noticed Bradley drifting into the middle sometimes when he plays, whereas Quansah was more orthodox in his positioning against PSG (and I agree that he did well, his best performance at right back for me). Personally I'd rather see Quansah than Jones there, but I've not managed a team to the brink of a Permier League title so I'll trust Arne's judgment.Does this suggest Slot didn't rate Quansah's performance at RB the other night? I didn't think he did too badly (Tuchel doesn't seem to think so either) and I'd certainly pick him ahead of Jones as a stand-in there.
Fixed.I feel like all the transfer talk about Jota, Nunez, and Diaz being sold in the summer is not helping any of them get sold because nobody would be stupid enough to buy them.
I'm sure that's not the talk around the club though. The fans often have disparate views to the club as can be seen by the lack of activity (that fans expected) every Summer. I'm guessing Nunez knows he'll be off - I doubt the other two are and so it has zero impact on them.I feel like all the transfer talk about Jota, Nunez, and Diaz being sold in the summer is not helping any of them.
We can give them as many starts as we can but if in their mind they have one foot out the door it'll show in the game
