I'm trying to find a spreadsheet / app that computes emotions, allowing me to calculate and then add these into the numbers and figures spreadsheet. Drawing a blank so far ! I could also use it for say Dreamy+Salah debates.
i like that, fair play

Our main issue is conceding goals.
We scored two against Villa which should be sufficient, the same against Everton.
It's more normal winning games by 2-0 or 2-1 than 3-2 imo.

Its both

our defence isn't good enough to cope with the fewer chances the opposition get, yet we're also not converting a wealth of the chances we get.

We could have won that villa game 5-2, but we didn't.

Whats changed since the start of the season? Our defenders just not as good? the opposition converting more?

We've just fallen off across the pitch.

…which points to either a rough patch of form (not so unusual) …or…fatigue starting to tell through lack of rotation of key players (somewhat avoidable / predictable)

It's not fatigue. It's mentality.
At the start of the season the players were playing without any pressure. We weren't expected to win the league.
Now the nerves started creeping in.

It was quite evident against both Everton and Villa. That shot buy Malen was a decimeter from going in.

They’re (fatigue —— mentality) not mutually exclusive…

Could just be the unusually easy start to the season. That first 13 games - how many were really ones you'd expect us to drop points in? Most of the points dropped since then have just been in the trickier games on paper: Newcastle away, Utd home, Forest away, Villa away, Everton away. Fulham home, yeah should win that, but we had the man sent off, so that's a confounding factor.

We haven't really had many really triumphant wins this season that make you sit up and take notice. It's just been par for a really good but not quite great team.

The last 12 games look like somewhere in the middle in terms of difficulty. So we should get over the line - Arsenal probably have to win at Anfield to have a realistic chance.

The fact that I think arsenal probably could get the result and Anfield is what's worrying me the most

If Darwin starts, I think his plan is to get him to run around the Man C defence like a headless chicken and tire them out. Then Jota comes on and scores the winner.

I’d be shocked if we don’t win.

Bah humbug to all the neigh sayers!

2-3
