Not by me. Rain/sleet.

I think it'll be fine. Gritters out, it's already slushy in areas.

This is a showpiece football event. I don't think the club or the PL want this to be postponed
It’s mixed here. Some brief spells of flakes, others sleet and some periods of rain.

By ours now. Airports shut. I guess they're thinking it'll rain

It won't be down to the club or PL now though. The Safety Advisory Group is the local authority and they won't want to get compensation claims for anything.

This country a) isn't used to it so can't cope and is b) extremely risk averse and will be led by those people whose job it is to say zero people will fall over, who only get the chance to assert their authority like this once or twice a year. That's why the jury remains out.

Either way those flying into Liverpool or Manchester aren't going to make it.

Yesterday when people were talking about snow, I was expecting a blizzard.
Fucking hell, I have more snow on my balcony right now.
Still funny to me how snow causes a panic over there.

Yeah, we had an amber alert on Friday cause it was expected to snow 50 cm.

I can understand though that you cant plan for this if you arent used to it, so no issue there.

That said. Its not dangerous.

True, but the council seems to be doing everything it can by putting out more gritters. And I'm always surprised people falling over due to snow/ice/fog/rain can claim compensation, as that's just unlucky and more often than not their own fault.

I'm still cautiously optimistic.

Well at least it's not below zero for you guys.
Over here nature keeps setting traps for us.
It snows, goes above zero and start melting then by night it's minus again so it turns into ice.
I basically have to ice skate to work some days.

In my M&A days I used to do a lot of work with Canadian pension funds. They'd leave behind 2-3 feet of snow in Toronto and then have to circle for an hour before landing at Heathrow because of 1 inch at this end. It's embarrassing how badly we cope.
