When will you learn things rarely pan out as easily as planned. Weather Officials Var Schedules. All can turn against us and have this season.

Hope your optimism proves right anyway.

This. Scrabbly, scratchy 1-0 win for us incoming - Nunez with another WTF moment to break the deadlock.

Just need to get the three points in the bag here. No complacency, and if we can get a few goals then great. Luton are shit, but we still can’t assume they’re beaten until we get the job done. That’ll take us above Arsenal and once Spurs play someone decent without VAR on their side then we can go above them too and start going toe to toe with City.
Long way to go but need a solid, professional performance here and we move on from there.

Agree with this.

I’m all for the practical here (professional win at all costs) .. but I’d love us to make a statement today and establish that we can follow City’s demolition of Bournemouth with an equally impressive hammering of a vulnerable prem side (and boost to our goal difference).

Chelsea to beat spurs tomorrow and we’ll then be sitting next to City ready to start pulling away from the next tier chasers.

Throw in a Nunez (perfect) hat trick too to cement his impressive progress with a clinical afternoon.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Gomez, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Jota, Salah, Nunez.
Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Diaz, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Matip, Doak, Quansah.

Gomez LB? And Diaz on bench 🙂

Oh my God where is our best midfielder?! @moron

Klopp to Sky: "It's still pretty emotional, but Luis decided three days ago that he wanted to join training. As I said before, football pitch, training ground is a safe place for the boys, where they can forget, for a few minutes at least, everything that is going on. "All the signs he gets, I understand, are very positive. Negotiations are still ongoing, but all very positive. That's why he wanted to be part of the team. Nobody can really imagine how something like that feels."

Whatever game he misses he'll miss. All league games are equally as important even though it'll mean more to fans to pick up wins against our rivals, same 3 points at stake for each game.

If he misses Brentford then so be it, Endo will step in and we'll beat them. If he misses City then so be it, Endo will step in and we'll beat them.
