These are shite. I despise the "they'll tire" line is being trotted out when we should be good enough to fucking score

So far it's been Nunez half/ ¾ chances

Mac does the odd good thing but he's nowhere near consistent enough. Hopefully it's because he's out of position. Strange one though, we've got a v good 6 on the bench

The only good things he does is attacking based. I've yet to see him do anything of note defensively across the entire season. Cunt can't even get sent off legitimately

This game is tending to reinforce for me that there are still questions about our midfield. Szobo does look much much better, to me, paired with Curtis, but even so, there's all sorts more flair in our midfield and quality on the ball, but it just looks frivolous at times.

I am getting infuriated at the fact that we aren't willing to use an overlap on the right EVER with trent. Mix it in occasionally. It doesn't need to be so robotic. I just don't see how him in there with a whipped cross isn't often more dangerous than the slight diagonal over the top from deep.

Konate should be striding through this game, but he still shows a lot of immaturity at times and is making this far more difficult than it needs to be.

We should have put away one of these chances, but we also should be constantly creating them, and we are just not grinding them down enough with movement.

Salah has been completely useless so far, but again, he's quite weak now isolated near the wing. There's no interplay there at all, with everything down our left. I know they are attacking at trent and konate, and why wouldn't they, but we could pin them back more there if we were willing to use that space and play with salah.

Our whole team just looks so asymmetrical, against even a shit team. I don't get it. I don't get what we gain from it particularly in a game like this.

These lst three games(Two and a half) Salah has been so poor, His touch he struggles to go pass defenders, His touch. ..
Would like to see Klopp take him off and rest him for a game or two
Elliott, or Doak for Salah

Jota also needs to stop starting games, sick of his nothing contributions time after time.

Fluffed up our biggest chance of the half and even had he scored it, it'd have been his single solidarity contribution of the half.

Macallister isn't a slick enough deep passer to be a DLP, and is obviously not a DM either, so he's kind of a misfit at 6. He's basically a very good jack-of-all trades no. 8 with a good work rate and a good tactical understanding of the game. He showed at Brighton (and a few times with us), that he can be a dangerous passer in the attacking half spaces, but we're basically playing him at no. 6 till we solve that position long term in the transfer market

Maybe Andre is the one we want there

The other thing that annoys me about our asymmetry... because of how we are on the ball, it's almost impossible for us to win the ball in transition on the one side of the pitch. It is so easy to play an outball, which is mana from heaven for a team like Luton.

This small pitch is causing us a lot of issues, they can close us down very quickly and we have far less space to play it around or break.

Jota did a lot more than Salah, though. Who's been the worst of our front three.

Small pitch is irrelevant when we're playing a narrow game. We're basically playing with fullbacks who want to play inside so we're not utilising any of the width out there because Jota and Mo are left isolated 2 on 1 situations.

Jota and Nunez on completely different wavelengths.

Salah just drooling in the corner like a mong

They'll score before we do

We need to get to 10 men and a goal down
