IMO its better to be hung as a sheep as a lamb. Suarez had a few games where he did indeed look for the foul, possibly because it's fairly standard practice and possibly because his skills mean that he fairly regularly gets booted. Because he is a dirty little racist foreigner and because a few in the established British order like to point out the failings in others compared to our own British role models such as Rooney who never dive ever he has been labelled now.... Which leads us nicely on to the west Brom game, many times those type of fouls are not punished but because Suarez was bundled over and got straight back up to chase the ball again without appealing this was clearly the lowest of dirty foreign shennanigans .... The cheating little fucker.

We can ignore the time he should have gone down but didn't and the handball and the wrestling by Olson on Carroll as they were not given and did not happen.

I was pleased to see Shearer on MOTD and indeed Waddle during the commentary say that it was a stonewall penalty because that's exactly what it was ... Silly soft defending but a peno without doubt. it's a shame West Brom, including uncle Roy lacked the class to admit the defeat was nothing to do with the ref whatsoever.

I think from how he comported himself during the match that Suarez is making too much of an effort not to dive now in light of Slurs slurs, seeing as its made not a jot of difference and he continues to be wrongly accused if I were him I would try my best to be the sneakiness dirtiest whingiest little diving foreign cunt I could and do my best to get the team as many penaltys as possible and the opposition defenders as many cards as possible in the process.

IMO the clue's in your second sentence. I think it's less of an agenda against us than an agenda to suck up to Ginsoak and his team. My guess is it stems partly from the incredible psychological stranglehold which the old git has built up through the years, by dint of sheer nastiness and aggression, over far too many people involved in/associated with the game. In the case of Sky there may be other causes as well, not unrelated to the size of Murdoch's investment in ManUre.

Both were penalties. The push on Carroll was with both hands as he was about to attack the ball, on the second one Reid had his arm out in an unatural position and changed the flight of the ball. Penalty.

if i remember correctly i agree with neil over the handball. his arm was out, sure, but the ball was practically aimed at his arm from a yard away. It would be harsh. N'zonzi had a pen against him when B'burn played norwich which would be similarily harsh in my mind.
