I think we can all agree if this is a "Grey Hair' appointment that brings some wisdom in, it may work. Helps replace some of the defensive wisdom of Jamie, without the pressure of a scouse veteran demanding his place. It's a Macca type signing. Do we need to say anything more? Kolo Toure could be an absolutely fine purchase, so long as we bring in an excellent young CB and retool our defensive coaching to include the ability to defend any set piece. We are going to do that, right?

Could you give me a list of games he screwed up against us?
2002 -2013, that's 11 years. Must be plenty of games you can list.

Its ok, we need to accept its shit and wait for the sexy ones to turn up,not pretend the fucking shit ones are sexy.
 
Not every signing needs to be sexy. I'd recommend against them blowing the rest of our transfer budget on location photo shoots involving yachts, speedos, and Toure.
 
Toure isn't a sexy signing. Does that make him shit? Does that make it not worthwhile accepting that we've brought much needed experience into a very young squad that's just lost Carra?
He's a free signing that's not on ridiculous wages for once. I'm happy.
