It doesn't work both ways. All our players should be on top money because they should all be excellent. The only problem is we've bought loads of shit. That doesn't change the fact that the next dude we buy should expect to be earning top money, to not expect it is to expect him to be shit.
Whatevers. I just spent 6k on 2 season tickets. I don't really want to hear about shithouse clubs like Spurs outbidding us for our manager's most realistic targets.

Sunny: Modric leaving Spurs will weaken them regardless of any new arrivals. Pienaar may return to Everton. Gylfi, Huddlestone and Sandro certainly don't inspire any fear.Yeh Modric is believed to be off.
They went up from 2150 to 2995 each in the Centenary lounges. I nearly didn't get them, I thought my bizz partner would tell me to fuck off to be honest and I wasn't going to argue but he was ok with it.
My tix never have had but they justify the increase this year by saying there's a complimentary hot and cold buffet. Thing is there isn't enough tables anyway so it will be a bit hectic I reckon.
For a massive fee I can offer consultation on hospitality solutions to LFC. Krump, Let them know.
ROFL.
Bollocks. My daughter lives there and I pay the rent and her living costs. I do know what it costs. Considering how these guys earn 20-30-40-50k a week and often much much more I have no idea how you don't get that the difference will impact on their living costs in virtually no way at all. We are NOT talking about your average man in the street here. You think that London's 30% weighting will impact an income of 250k a month - dream on. They will hardly notice it.
I think we're all a bit risk averse because we know the kind of money we're paying talentless fucks in the squad - but every time you try to improve that squad you're taking that risk. I don't give a shit how much we pay players as long as they're excellent. I wouldn't want to lose out on good players because of past crimes.
So a top of the range London City centre apartment wont be at least 30% more than the Liverpool equivalent?
I reckon it would be more like 150% more tbh.
Have always read that Tottenham, like Arsenal, have salary caps of their own. Wonder how 'generous' our 'offer' is. We also tripled Henderson's wages last season. More stringent control?
I would imagine so. I've never understood the need to triple players wages. 50k a week when you've been on 20 or 30k is a big enough rise.
What I don't get about this if we rewind a few weeks is that Gylfi was going to sign for Brendan Rodgers' Swansea.
Brendan left and that made a big difference to things as far as Gylfi was concerned so in a big trumpeting of honour he did the right thing and told Laudrup he would not be taking up the offer, presumably we were always going to pay more wages than Swansea, but Spurs went even better.
He must be fucking made up Brendan left Swansea.

Touche!Unless the manager isn't/wasn't in charge of signing players at that club
