Second round of talks have taken place appaz, we've upped our offer but not to the level of Spurs, with various clauses thrown in. He wants assurances about our intentions in the transfer market and beyond, the club are determined not to get the piss taken out of them in the market this year, but still have some flexibility regards the deal, they just won't be held to ransom because of an agent, a player or another clubs offer (or all three). Gilfi to decide in the next few days, Hoffeneim preferably want a decision from him by the 30th June though. Swansea put an offer in but never reached the discussion stage, the wages that were mooted by his agent made them decide to spend their money on the squad, Laudrup put the dampers on it as he felt the wages and fee would be better spent elsewhere. Adebayor is apparently a real consideration.

Oh, and some bellend as put on Wiki that he's now a Spurs player and the best midfielder to ever play the game, etc.

Seriously, where does someone who's career highlights include 7 good games for Swansea after being loaned out by HoffenfuckingHeim get off demanding to know what our intentions are in the transfer market?

If this is true; he can suck the back end of it.

Adebayor is a real consideration for us or swansea?

Where'd you get this Mark?

Ok so ONE per decade is ok. I dont think we should jump at the first one who comes along.

I beg to differ. To be a person, a PROPER human person, you need to have a soul. Gingers have no soul. You can see it behind their eyes. Vacant. Haunting. Just an empty vessel.
If ever there is a Zombie attack that spreads across the globe, it'll start with Gingers and Albino's

Satans minions.

When the day is upon us I will come for you first!

The only reason I married a Greek is so that my children will have the ability to walk in direct sunlight without fear of being burned. This new breed of day walkers will rule the Earth!

Youre the reason I have a bunker filled with Twinkies and canned soup you sick evil fuck.

This is exactly how we should approach it, thanks for the update. Not sure sure about Adebayor though.

I really couldn't give a toss whether he joins us or not. His agent is doing a very good job of making out he's the next big thing. Hoffenheim certainly don't agree, he has played for Reading and Swansea, he's from Iceland, he's 22. There are hundreds of players like him out there who would crawl over broken glass to play for Liverpool. Fuck him and his ridiculous wage demands.

Hmm, this is from the Icelandic lad on YNWA who knows Gylfis brother:

LFC wont budge - guess thats a good news, well or a bad news depends on how you see it.

He traveled to London last night, only a massive turnaround now can change things. Doubt it .

AVB is the new Spurs boss btw - annoiced on monday, 90%+ that Gylfi will be as well. Been invoved along some figure in somekind of DOF role, dont know who, dont care really.

Only way this Gylfi saga will turn our way is, a) dramatic change of heart, Rodgersfactor worth more than $$, b) Liverpool bulk in and up their offer (not likely at all).

Tim Sherwood, that doesn't add up, from First team coach to Dof?

And this Gylfi fella, if Spurs want to overpay on wages we should leave them too it.

Fuck Gylfi "The Great" like he's proven anything in his career? Get Adebayor in. Before anyone get on their high horse talking about him being a cunt, I don't care. We need goals, he scores goals. Simple as.......

If/when this fella signs for Spurs, how about we lock this thread and never speak of him again ?

I would find it rather tragic, were we to expend anymore energy, theorising on him from that point.

How can we pay Adebayor's wage demands if we can't pay Sigurdsson?

With Citeh wanting "all" our centre halves, there'll be concessions. Oh and they can keep hammerhead Lescott.
