I thought it was the otherway round. Roland, I hope Thor means the end of Adam personally.
More than likely will be the end of Adam. I have a feeling that Jonjo will thrive with Rodgers at the reigns. The lad may lack a little pace but he has an eye for a pass and plays a lovely one-two. He ain't afraid to tackle either.

This may be a breakout season for Henderson if he toughens up and stop playing within himself. He needs to show a bit of confidence on the ball. That the difference between him and Jonjo.

Personally I think the short quick passing will suit Henderson. He may not strive in moving the ball forward enough, but he is good at simple passing and making himself available for the ball. That'll work well with Rodgers I reckon.

Maybe, but I still think he lacks the bottle to make something happen on the pitch. To afraid to make mistakes and doesn't take any risks. The kid has serious confidence issues.

Rodgers style will be the making of the lad. Enable him to gain enough confidence to push on & become a mainstay of the midfield.

He doesn't need to make something happen, he's not Gerrard, he needs to play with the ball well and make himself available, like Jon says, I have no doubt that Rodgers will have him the confidence and will really push him on.

Burst of money today on Gylfi to Spurs. Ben Smith saying he'll have an update on this later today on twitter.

According to many twatter reports he has only spoken to us and Reading.
It should be a no brainer for him to come to us

not too fussed if we get him, by all accounts we're going for a better calibre of players, well, by all accounts i mean the transfer forum

if he doesn't want to join us then fuck him and the horse he rode in on (although perhaps not literally ) .

According to the Icelandic guy on YNWA, Gylfi has also recieved an offer from Spurs. Apperantly higher than what we are offering.

Said it was nailed on last week ( signing for us). The deciding on Spurs stories are not true.

Losing a player to fucking Spurs will be hard to swallow, if that happens.

I know what you mean but, if he's stupid enough to chase a few extra quid when he could play for Rodgers here and has no clue who'll be in charge at Tottenham, maybe we're better off looking elsewhere anyway.

Maybe it's more down to the fact that he'd prefer to play for a team that finished fourth, than one that finished eighth.

...but looks likely to lose a couple of the key players who helped them get there, so that would still be pretty short-sighted.

In fairness, we could well lose a few players too, we're on course for losing one of our best players for about the fifth year in a row.

Wouldnt he be more interested in winning some trophies?

Maybe. I don't know, maybe he thinks he'd have a better shot at it with Spurs, given that they tend to finish above u sin the league.

It's not me you have to convince anyway, it's the guy that seemingly is choosing Spurs over us.

According to the Icelandic fella we're still front runners, more negotiations this week.

Thing is, if he wants to come here and carry on working with Rodgers, he should have signed already.

He's been away on holiday, and Rodgers apperantly didnt want to do anything until Swanse had installed a new manager

He's been back a week or so? And Laudrup was installed about the same time?

If he was desperate to come, I'm sure he'd be here already or at least have made it clear Anfield is his preferred destination.

Just saying like, as no-one really know what's going on.

We can't wrap anything up until after the 1st July, and no one knows that we haven't got an agreement in place anyway

regards
