On the options though he has been linked with Real before but his displays this season has surely put paid to that, he probably will end up going for nothing, it wouldn't suprise to see him go to a 2nd tier Spanish club, if his on pitch actions are anything to go by then he really doesn't seem to give much of a shit about challenging for honours, then again like you say who could afford his wages especially if he leaves for nothing, ahh who knows!.
Says a lot about him that the one season we are up there really giving it a good go he can't be arsed.

I agree with the first bit, he's been straightforward for much of his time here (and a very good player). But he deserves lambasting for a perceived lack of effort this season, not just his bad form.

You've got some front. Disrespect? His fucking half arsed performances for us this season are the epitome of disrespect, especially considering he's considered a senior player, an experienced international and one of the highest earners.
If he fucking looked bothered or put effort in then I think you'll find the sane amongst us would be less vicious. But if you're struggling for form, then that can happen. Struggling for effort? Fuck off. That's disrespectful.
he's relied on his pace, quickness of thought and technique to get him out of trouble and be effective attscking wise, he's lost that edge. it's not for lack of trying, he's just getting older.
He looked a shower yesterday - I used to quite like him. I don't anymore. As Spion said for a senior pro his work rate and general performance was woeful. I saw him 'in the flesh' against Cardiff and it was the same then. According to some of the lads who go more regularly he's been like that for awhile.

He's a liability at present. I'm amazed he hasn't cost us more goals. I think we should look to replace him in the summer, unless Flanno can continue his upward curve, or Kelly can rediscover the form he showed when he first burst onto the scene. You could forgive him if he was a workhorse, but many of his problems stem from his lackadaisical style, and increasingly, sheer stupidity. I think he's run his course here.

in footballing sense he is not dumb, but a clever instinctive player.
@King Binny i would be interested in the stats about how many km a game Magic is running, that would be a fairly decent analysis of his workrate.
