The same shower that basked in their Europa League Glory (according to some) 😉

Appaz I was one of them too.. 🙄

CAVANI looks set to sign, according to the Italian media

If we sell Suarez, I'd put all that money straight into Lukaku ... He is going to be a stud, and with Cavani in the way, will be an excellent time to pry him away.

ALL the money? I would put 15m and ask Real to give is morata and ozil (who will wonder whether he will get games with isco and bale coming in...).

They would sell Torres first, if they could find a buyer... More likely it will be Demba-Ba though...

The thing with us signing someone like Lukaku is that it probably means Sturridge either out wide or one of them on the bench. It'd be good for us to have competition and posshibilities, but I wonder if Rodgers would replace Suarez with someone similarly versatile (hopefully it's not Aspas).

Also, having seen very little of Napoli the only times I've ever really got a proper look at Cavani is when he turns out for Uruguay and he looks shit.

Is he just one of those players that can't quite do it for his national side?

Yeah, he is the bizarro Klose.

near the end of the season he did play on the left of a front 3 for wba and still scored goals.

If Maureen has identified him as everything this thread has made him out to be then there'll be no moving him from Chelsea. He's a beast and a perfect Mourinho front man.

£49 million fee agreed according to Italian papers...

He is good Cavani.. But I don't think he is worth that...

Absolute confusion regarding Cavani rumors. One major Italian outlet reports Chelsea offered €59m, another says it was Manchester United

Fucking hell!

I'm going to get a right fortune from the tingly shoulder I developed working as a gigolo who specialised in mechanical pleasure devices.

Napoli have agreed a £49.3m deal with Chelsea for Edinson Cavani, claims the Italian club's official radio station
Manchester United have a £50m bid ready for the Uruguayan forward - who was top scorer in Serie A last season.
But according to Napoli's radio station Radio Marte, a deal has been done between manager Rafa Benitez and Chelsea for 'Il Matador'.
"We have received news in the office from a very reliable source that Napoli have sealed a deal with Chelsea for Cavani's sale," the station has announced.
"Rafa Benitez also gave the all-clear, but before making the move official Napoli want to secure the striker who will replace Il Matador.
"(Napoli president) Aurelio De Laurentiis' club will pick up around €58m (£49.3m), a slight discount on the buy-out clause, which is the same situation as Ezequiel Lavezzi to PSG last year.
"The player will earn €8.5m (£7.2m) per season plus image rights."
Cavani refused to discuss any possible move when quizzed about the rumours at the weekend, but he did respond to questions about his suitability to play in the EPL, and seemed to take a dig at his international teammate Luis Suarez as he did so. "I am a strong man," he told reporters. "The media don't affect me. The media only affects weak people. I only see positive things in the English league."
