He's got a long way to go, no doubt, but it seems that yet again we've picked up an excellent, hungry attacking talent in the January window (Suarez and Studge being the others).

He's so skillful on the ball, he's aware of everyone's runs, and his attacking passes are top notch. I've been very impressed by his tracking back, the work ethic and desire to impress/prove himself is excellent. The chemistry he has quickly developed with Enrique, Sturridge and Suarez has been a pleasure to watch - and has been a key factor in the last 3 wins.

I can't wait to see how he does next year - a whole summer to get into game shape and hit the gym more.

Finally, to quote Lucas ... a real Brazilian

Whatever I said the last time Coutinho was discussed is what I would like to say now.

Fantastic signing and fantastic potential.

Will no doubt be a bit up and down performance wise, but his close control of the ball, awareness and ability to pick a pass is second to none.

It's not the flicks and work-rate which have most impressed me - although they have - it's his ability to thread a through ball with such devastating weighting and accuracy.

That skill is already responsible for 2 goals this season and it will be the cause of many more to come. He's a real talent.

He was up against Walker aswell. Who is probably the best in form right back in the league at the moment.
Did a very good job defensively aswell. Need a bit of bulking up, but that will come.

Love him. So classy. Great energy. And some of his touches are out of this world. The one just before the first goal had me ginning like a Cheshire cat. It's just a pity it didn't lead directly to Enrique's pass.

I feel he will be most useful when we are trying to unlock a team parking the bus. We really haven't had a player capable of doing it bar Suarez so he'll make a big difference.

Having said that he'll be aces in the other matches too lol.

He's special. His vision is just wonderful. He tries beautiful things and completes them more often than one could possibly expect.

I like him too and agree with the above, but I still want a proper left sided player too.

A matter of time before he is moved into a free role behind Suarez. And if Sterling can avoid going to jail or having any more kids, he'll take over on the left.

It pains me to see him having to run up and down the wing. He get's fucked after an hour in every game. Meanwhile Sterling is sitting around having a rest because the poor little baby lost his zip. The fuck.

Hey Modo did you meet any of the regulars?
Nah didn't have any time. Got to the game an hour before kick off. Left in the 90th. Had to get to Manchester airport before 7.40pm. Was invited though, got pm:ed a few days ago.

That's a shame - Spion for one was dying to meet you. 😉 You must have had a great time though. After a long trip to the game it's always ace to head back after such a great result.

His passing was fanfuckingtastic today. I'm excited about this guy from what I've seen in the few games that he's played, more than any other player since Torres.

His passing is great. It remains to be seen if he can deal with defenders fouling him all the time, but he looks a great prospect from what I've seen so far.

It's great that we have the king of nutmegs and we look like we may have a young prince of the outside foot as well in due course. Cou-lala!

We need more like him.
He's our Nostradamus.
Very confident he's going to be the nuts.
