Adam Johnson, Wright philips, Walcott, Lennon, Downing, Sinclair, Rose are all predictable, brainless overrated players who spit on the memory of great England wingers like Waddle, Barnes, Mcamanaman and even Beckham.
Does anyone of the wingers belonging to the new 'generation' really have another dimension to their game?

Great England wingers and Beckham is included? You becoming slightly mental.
As for the other 3 mentioned there, not one of them fulfilled their potential at international level for England - even Digger. Barnes was a top tier club winger and one of the best players to play in red. McManaman was frustratingly inconsistent at times and was capable of more. Waddle was average imo.

Damn straight.
Manc cunts even used to say that Digger couldnt give a shit about plaing for England and only cared about Liverpool.

I wrote England but I meant English.
I wasnt referring to how they played for England.
To illustrate my point, just look at the Spanish so called wingers. Like Iniesta, Mata, Silva etc.
You'll probably say they arent wingers but it's just a label. The modern winger needs to be more than a pacy dribbler, pinging crosses in.
Some here say that Barnes wasnt a winger or even Beckham. But why were they playing on the flanks? Like I said, you persist on labeling them as something else just because they had more dimensions to their game.
With the risk of sounding reptatitve, this is something the new generation of English wingers are missing IMO.
Call me mad or whatever, if you're not seeing it then you're blind, I guess.[/quote]
In other words, if people don't agree they are wrong. Great...
