In terms of contributions in a match, Lallana and Coutinho are remarkably similar, they both tend to have extended spells where they're less involved in the game until popping up with a goal or assist. They both tend to tire a bit quickly as well, especially given their limited involvement.
I prefer Coutinho because he's a slightly more versatile player who has more creative ability in terms of picking a cutting pass. He also has a track record for us in scoring in key matches and situations, and benefits more from getting minutes as he's young enough to get better.
Lallana is more of a goal threat in theory, but we need to see him contribute more goals and assists. I'm also uncomfortable with him pressing aggressively given some of the terrible challenges we've seen from him in his appearances this season.

In practice, too, surely. He can shoot without that Brazilian trick of either scuffing it wide or ballooning it over the crossbar, and he gets in the box more as well.
Correct but at present he is the only true DM in the squad and should be played there. Like most positions, better players exist out there and when an opportunity to replace a current player with a better one comes we should do so.
Ballooning it over is usually Hendo's thing, but I think consistent shooting will come in time.
This season we haven't gotten enough production out of either of them, but Lallana had made a bit more out of his opportunities.

Pretty much. I visit all the time, but I don't know if I'd want to live there over another city given how bad the commute will be.
Not really my scene, but it seems a bit pricey compared to FunFunFun fest a few weeks back.
The days I visited the traffic was from hell. It was like London and that's saying something. Apparently that has steadily got worse of late. Shame there's not a good rail or bus network into the city from the suburbs which could ease that. But the Americans really do have to drive everywhere, especially in Texas! But I suppose it is so big.
There was a push several years back for the rail system which seemed to get placed, but nobody really uses it for various reasons.
The bus routes are decent, but again not convenient enough given the design of the city. Everyone needs to drive to get where they want to be, which just magnifies the problem.

Being the fourth best player in that performance is nothing to shout about. Nor is being the first.
It might indeed, as you say, be nothing to shout about but I would suggest that it is a lot better than
"Jack shit happened today apart from the goal and he didn't create the shit."
