Great Start to the Season for this fella, Scored in his last 8 games...

This Seasons Harry Kane ?

Is he worth a punt, or a one season wonder.. ?

That last point's the crucial one IMO. We won't have a clear idea either way until his second season at this level.

Vardy is just the flavour of the month. We should be aiming higher imo.

Is he better than a fit Sturridge? No.
Is he better than Benteke? No.

Well there you have it. If he was available for free like Bellamy then sure but atm Leicester would ask for Caroll money.

What I've seen from Leicester is that they're essentially a counter attacking team and that's why Vardy is playing well. It's an important thing to have in mind because he wouldn't fit in so well with us.
That's why many transfers probably don't work out for us, we look at stats instead of the players ability to conform to our style of play.

Wrong age to even bother. All the points have been covered, he would cost too much, he's likely a one season wonder, etc.

If we're going to buy another striker then it has to be because we think we can't get by with Sturridge, a currently longterm crocked Ings, and a Benteke who's struggling to play back to back games. If we buy, we buy someone of real quality with a good fitness record.

If he scores against us I guarantee you we will buy him. It's just what we do.

"Extensive scouting network" my ass...

I'm hoping klopp will replicate his buying policy he had at Dortmund and find players he can mould. As long as they're not italian I wont worry.

Nah, we wont go after him. Overpriced and its not an area were we need to focus in January.
He's had a great start to the season but he like Kane is overrated.

I think Kane is quite good. I realise my opinion and knowledge on the quality of strikers is sketchy at best - But there you have it.

Kane is good but he's still overrated imho. The media has maybe come ti their senses a bit this season after he's been pretty shite.

He'll turn into a very good player just not the world class superstriker he was hyped up to be last season.

My brother in law used to employ him. In a prosthetics factory in Sheffield. That was only a short while ago. Amazing rise. He was a cocky little shit but quite funny apparently. So there you go.

Can someone ask Sean for me if he means Vardy or Kane. He amusingly has me ignore but still I'd quite like to know. Do it in a spy like way so he doesn't know I'm interested in one of his posts. 🙂

I quite like Kane too, I doubt he'll hit last seasons heights again but he's a good player who probably needed a break over the Summer.

I love the fact Vardy was working in a factory not so long ago. Hope he scores again the weekend and closes in on RVN's record. He will have a decent chance as they are playing against Watford.

So far this season, Leicester have played:
Sunderland (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Stoke (A)
Arsenal (H)
Norwich (A)
Southampton (A)
Palace (H)
West Brom (A)

They were tonked by Arsenal. Drew with Bournemouth, Spurs, Stoke, and Southampton. They are also out of the Carling Cup
It's hardly surprising that they are sitting where they are in the table, and that Vardy has scored a few goals.

He is the kinda guy, who I fear we would have signed under previous managers.

Rafa signing crouch after he tonked us while playing for saints springs to mind

3 seasons ago the vast majority of Leicester fans were convinced he wasn't good enough for them at Championship level and I argued that they were wrong. Now they tell me he is good enough to play international football and they are wrong again. He's a decent striker, for a lower level/mid table EPL team, who is on a very hot run of form at present but top defenders should be able to handle him.

By prosthetics, do you really mean big strap on rubber cocks?
