Omar Marmoush

You awoke the dragon.

Surprised Froggy didn’t pick up on “grifter” too.

Brighton spent £30M on him, their club record fee. No way they let him go for less than 60.
Yes, 60 would be a minimum for them and I think they'll demand a wedge more than that. They have him on a long contract until June 2028.

Who else in on your list? Ait Nouri, Joao Gomes, Kerkez, Semenyo, Baleba?
Yeah broadly the above

For what we would need in Jan to really maximise chance at title i think it would include

LB - Robinson / Kerkez
Attackers - Joao Pedro, Semenyo
CM - Baleba

Not sure any of the Brighton ones are obtainable given they’ve done a lot of selling recently.

Joao Pedro was Brighton's record signing, and widely regarded by their fanbase as their best player.

He signed a five year contract that expires in Summer 202
Brighton have no need of money, having received massive fees from Chelsea.

Joao Pedro will cost more than Sesko, Gyokores, Marmoush or Kudus. We aren't getting him for less than 70 m

Besides Marmoush (who would also be the biggest risk based on pedigree & the length of time he's been on top) I think they all go for 70m+

Cunha is the one we should be looking at closely, especially if Wolves end up relegated, far more versatile.

The player who plays like Firmino is Cunha the wolves forward . Clever and tricky plays the pass you don't expect a real false number 9 , from Brazil as well.
Absolutely. Him and a midfielder like Zubi or baleba and a new left back, perhaps this kerkez?

I think Kerkez will cost a fortune, Bournemouth sold Solanki for £60m, I think Kerkez we are looking at £40m+. I am going with @King Binny 's choice Maxim De Cuyper, only 23 6ft tall and has pace.

Can I give a scouting assignment to @Modo or anyone else who doesn’t mind reaearching another team’s forums - what do Wolves fans think of Andre? They lost every game he started, then when he was taken out of the lineup their form improved - do they blame him or is it viewed as more of a coincidence?

Quite a few interesting players in that Wolves team, which is why it’s even more baffling their results have been so shit.

Does not matter anymore about the data length - what he is doing is not one off skills stuff, he is doing it regularly in the final third and that is what we need - it will only work if we think what he is doing is suitable for our system. With Darwin - there is a player, but to get the best out of him we have to play to his strengths. That is the thing that needs to be looked into.

I love going on other forums

I don't need their opinions to tell me he's shite.

Anyway, here's their opinions:

Looks like one of those threads we have from time to time where people are defending some shite player the manager isn't playing.

So bullet dodged then?

Fwiw, and I'm on only going off highlights, Marmoush looks like he has great link up play too. Very unselfish. Also a real pressure machine.

He does play at breakneck speed all the time. No pauses. I'm not sure if that's a good thing

He looks like a counter-attacking machine and good at finding space - all good traits, but that’s not what the #9 in a possession-oriented team is supposed to be. At least one of your attackers needs to be the type that draws physical contact and thrives on it. So what I’m saying is that Marmoush or someone like him can be part of the mix - but we need another, key ingredient to make it all work.

Does he play in the #9 position currently?

In the video I watched, it seemed as though he was primarily operating on the flanks and cutting inside.

Would be a bit sad if we let go of Salah and sign Marmoush in summer. Kinda want to see "the King" and his successor play together.

He plays in a front 2 partnership with Ekitike. They complement each other well.

Then he is a 9 for sure right ?, we need to sign him ASAP, he is now top of the shopping list. We have American owners, therefore they like guns and by extension guns in football are the guys up front that get you goals. FSG for all their faults, even if we are short on a Midfielder/Defender and the one they want is not available or if there is a deal to be done for a gunman, they will go get the gunman, being the fucking cowboys that FSG are.
