I thought it was so cute the way he tried to present himself on the pitch yesterday.
Did he scream at the ref or linesman even once?
Don't know whether it was his own conscious decision or whether Rodgers had a word with him, but the one thing I was worried about when it comes to him being captain is his general petulant behavior towards the officials. He was a fecking angel yesterday!
Only one game and he might change back again, but seeing him zip his mouth after being fouled or offside made me smile. Good on the lad!

Just to add, he really did lead by example and his pressurising from the front was followed by every other player all the way back to the centre backs.

Yes he has. Totally different mentality it seems. 10 yellows in 29 games last season... 1 in 11 so far, and no dives I think!
