I'm a nervous wreck when I watch the games really, so I don't notice a lot of stuff until I watch it again. I didn't notice Gerrard being too bad, though, so can someone elaborate on how bad he was for me please? I can't be arsed watching the game again.

I thought Lovren was very good and I have high hopes for him and Sakho together over the long term.

Yeah, I didn't notice how shit Gerrard was but everyone on here did so I guess he must have been. I thought he hit some decent passes. It was magic and lucas who were doing my head in.

The bit where Henderson was closing motherfuckers down after 89 mins as if he'd just come on and as if his life depended on it was the best bit for me.

Gerrard defo did alright. He captained us well and ordered people about. Told Manquillo to calm it rudeboy a few times

Some of his passes were ridiculous

Gerrard was poor for a DM. Yes he sprayed some nice passes, but the first time he closed someone down was in like the 70th minute. He didn't want to close down and he didn't want to defend

Yeah so do I, but I can't ever see it happening. Every manager he's played under has altered the team to use Gerrard's strengths
