If we're looking for a long term partner for Can in central midfield, then we need to be looking at this guy.

He's really blossomed this season at Inter, and given that his loan (from Dinamo Zagreb) ends this summer, he's going to be available.

Think Henderson with superior technical ability. He's got good energy, is quite feisty in the tackle, and is a very smart passer (would be the best in our team). Has an excellent shot too - scored 8 from midfield this season.

I've been a lot more impressed with him than say Xhaka for instance.

He's on an 18 month loan from Dinamo. Think Inter have an option to sign, but he's going to cost north of 15 million - Inter probably can't afford that.

Not that I can find. Arsenal's interest seems to be quite serious though.

I think they can afford it, the lonely is returning to the Italian league I believe due to a new TV deal. However, this deal is under investigation as it has links with Sepp Blatter and Silvio Burlosconi.
